In the sense that psychopaths are known for accomplishing things the average person can’t pull off, it makes sense to wonder how a psychopath would interview another.

THANK YOU! I have had great success by weaving tests for empathy into conversations and situations. I use it in dating, work and friendship. The techniques you suggest to look for are techniques I've personally used, (ex...no pun intended...flipping the interview)...guess who taught me how to do that? My ex...who might be a psychopath. I started reading Hare after dating him so I wouldn't have it happen to me again. They destroy you. Thank you so much for posting this.

Higher than average psychopathic traits is 30% ! The 1% is the PCLR 30-40 on the check list.

Thanks! interesting that interviewing techniques that work most often, sometimes don’t. very tricky. this can also be true of a “normal” person interview, of course. it’s just that people with difficult disorders can get dicey quickly. have a good day :) 🌷🌱

Great discussion. There are more sociopaths than psychopaths. Sociopaths may be more dangerous because they can put on a more deceiving personality than psychopaths. I suggest u read the book.....the sociopath next door. The author, a psychiatrist, has many years experience working and studying sociopaths. Sociopaths can put on airs to be more charming than psychopaths......We see many sociopaths taking positions of power in business, politics, etc.

@@ShaunAndYoshi sociopaths can be charming. Many times they b come politicians, corporate leaders,salesmen......etc. Psychopaths usually do not have the social skills sociopaths. When thinking sociopath think the fast talking salesman. When thinking Psychopaths think dirty old man exposing himself at a park...

@@anthonybarbuto6012 i really dont think thats an accurate conceptualization of what psychopathy or primary psychopath is. Ive watched interviews with primary and secondary psychopaths. I've seen psychopaths with good social skills and ive seen sociopaths with bad social skills. Making generalisations about people with this disorder can be dangerous as it can lead to people not recognising someone as a psychopath because of the assumption that usually psychopaths dont have the social skills sociopaths do

@@anthonybarbuto6012 Those with anti social personality disorder still can be very charming. Yes "psychopaths" not "sociopaths". Psychopaths are known for being in positions of power in business, and politics generally more than sociopaths from my understanding

If Psychopathy is not a mental illness why are you talking about this. I have a lot of these traits; what can I do about it. It’s depressing to imagine there no hope of change.

cold theropy is the only way know what makes you happy nice expensive stuff random sex doing dangerous sports etc thats the only thing thats helped me also stay busy stay at work as much as possible last but not least dont drink too much cause when we do are self destructive side will come out not might keep that weak abused child that has never griwn up in there the one that doesnt trust you will also need a drug to keep you calm frim time to time on hard days in to make others more wt ease around you . youll be ok if you do this i have been at this for over 4 years study sam vaknin research hes the real best at these studies in last you have to let go of anything or anyone your not willing to walk away from in 3 seconds. accept that as a loss cause the way we are its already lost as a child we already died in morned are soul this is true untill you accept your diagnosis as your identity you will never at least be content i have looked in studied alot there is no cure for ASPD 😅 being a primary psychopath when you accept this you will slow down on being so suicidal cause thats are biggest problem to overcome is accepting that we are scum trash worth nothing you have to embrace what you are just be honest in real with yourself in dont let ones close to you know your diagnosis it with hurt you more then help in will loose everything you can never be honest about what you have done if your a true person with this diagnosis also think 3 to 5 seconds when upset your fiest response or reation isnt always your best good luck to you 🎉
