I totally disagree with you. As usual, Gail was being rude and insulting as she always is on her shows. This couple didn't like being insulted and blamed on the first challenge, and stood up to Gail for good reason! And the changes Stephanie made to the first challenge was acceptable - it was still along the same lines. Same with the third challenge, the garden - they did what was best for their situation with the dogs. The REAL PROBLEM Gail had with it was she didn't get asked for the changes and approve them herself, because she's rude, insulting, controlling and a know it all. If I was in Stephanie and Malcolm's position when Gail handed over the cheque, I would have told Gail off, told her to keep the cheque, that they were NOT airing the show, to hand over the tapes and if they didn't lawyers were being involved! @@robwalton2007 They can’t just air episodes where it’s all positive attitudes and mindsets, they need a variety of the kinds of people and characters to keep the show interesting. Gail is just straight to the point, no BS, no nonsense and no negativity. This featured couple should have absolutely no bonuses as these two have no true desire to change at the beginning and solely came for the money. Gail with her composed stance, she just has to be cruel to be kind to get the message across to the people who are indebted. Attitudes like that clearly shows that Stephanie is the dominant person in the relationship failure, she herself would be unfit to be raising children. Her self centred character already confirms that. Even $3000 was overly generous having completed just one challenge but at the end of the day, her attitude in the process was unpleasant.

There are no followup shows on this, nor on "Princess." One of the things Gail refused to do when this show ended was any kind of "where are they now" episodes, and when she shut down her brainchild, "Princess," she did the same thing.

What I’m hearing is ‘I didn’t like that the tv show (that I applied for) pointed out my poor behaviour. I would have appreciated being able to be painted in a better light, maintain my lifestyle, and have my debt paid off for me. If I don’t get my way I can always go for divorce’

They were expecting to get $5,000 just for being on the show, I'm thinking. What kind of delusional thinking that required was mind boggling, but they seemed to think that Gail just automatically handed everyone a check for the full amount---and they could have used that to go to that "destination" wedding the weird woman mentioned.

He was no better than her...he even stated at least twice that he preferred to just go along with anything his wife said so there would be no conflict, and that it wasn't worth his energy to stand up to her. Then he lied later and said the production crew made them look bad and didn't give them time to "get ready" before the cameras started rolling.

What horrid people. Good that they didn’t plan on children, Stephanie is much to entitled to be a decent mother, her husband can’t stand up for himself and I doubt he’d stand up for children if they were involved.

Two very self centered people. Though they may love each other they are also each others worst enemy when it comes to money and communication. They are complacent and they are happy in the situation they are living in . I mean they should try to live my life and see what it is truly like to feel like you are a slave with no hope of a better future. I make a third of what they make. WOW

That's patehetic, because he had a very weak chin, and zero personality...and he was not good looking in any way at all if you're using her as the comparison (she wasn't the least bit attractive, so double of nothing is nothing still).

There's an episode where the couple spends $18,000 a month more than they make. A month. Not a year. And the husband was a doctor. I still can't picture how that's even possible unless you're buying cars or something.
@sunflowerbaby18533 жыл бұрын
@@littleblackcar These couples must live in their own delusional, oblivious bubble. I'm guessing they're thinking, lets buy/spend whatever we want, then we will claim bankruptcy and not have to worry about paying for any of it. What else can explain this sort of behavior. I would love to have a conversation with them. I'm going to try and find that episode. Thanks.

I’ve never seen this show before, I’m a tad shocked at how clueless and stubborn this couple is. Why contact this show for help if you’re not going to participate and follow through to the letter as suggested??? I’m most blown away over their pet budget! I have pets in the home as well, 4 of them to be exact. We buy bagged kibble that’s a tad more expensive bc it has better nutritional value, nothing fancy.. and we have pet insurance for them which we didn’t always have until we broke it all down and realized just how expensive those vet visits can be! As far as all the extras like toys and treats? They are like children and sometimes have more fun playing with the box the toy came in. LoL I added a couple of pebbles to the inside of an empty water bottle and my GSD puppy goes nuts over it! In my opinion, if you over treat a dog they tend to get bored and not like them anymore. The same goes for toys, our dogs have a few of them and they might get new ones once a year, maybe twice if something gets broken.. which they get very excited about. All I could think about is what’s going to happen with this couple when they no longer have a roof over their heads bc they can’t afford the mortgage? I get it though, I was in debt once in my early 20’s when I gained access to my first credit card. I went to a debt counselor for help, got my act together and never made that mistake again.. bc it’s scary! LoL What absolutely took the cake for me is the watch that the wife gifted her husband at the end. I guess they are going to learn the hard way. 🤷🏻♀️

@ Shine W - we lost our beautiful dog Holly recently. Your comment made me smile as we used to do the same thing and put some pebbles into an empty water bottle when we were at the beach. She’d play with it for hours and never get bored. Thanks for bringing a happy memory to the forefront for me😊

100%. It’s way too much. Even if you aren’t having kids it’s no reason to spend so much on dogs. Like I’m not having kids but my dog is so happy when I bring out his bubbles lol

@@beigeturtleneck7511 to be honest most kids are like this too. The boxes tend to be more entertaining than the toy. I had cats and i ashamedly kept an empty (closed) pizza box laying on my livingroom floor for years. Id swap it out when we ordered pizza for the new one. If i threw the box away the cat would knock it out of the trash and drag it across the floor. He would sit on it like a throne. Made him happy so i finally gave in. Damn cat liked that box more than any toy. Hahaha
