Our Polaris 800 engine swapped Honda Odyssey ATV is finally finished! We rebuild the RMK engine with Wiseco pistons, sanded/restored the frame and painted it with Gloss Ford Red tractor paint. We love the look and love how it drives. Once we can travel again we will build some custom fenders, tune the clutch and take the Honda Odyssey FL250 gone 800 to the dunes!

Edwin- The camera work and editing are amazing! But the music during the time lapse (around the 7 minute time) really leaves a lot to be desired. As a musician, the overmodulated synthesizers and off-the-wall drum beat really detracts from the high quality camera/editing work you do. But, I guess that sound is what's popular in videos nowadays... Anyway, Keep up the good work- all 3 of you are some of the most talented guys in the "7B"! (ya make us proud!) Stay Safe! Edit: Rest of the music was awesome!~

As a lifelong motorized madness builder I salute you! Solid frame! Nice engine!!! Tip: Give it a few degrees more camber and caster. And look at the bump/rebound of your front shocks.The tires bounce. (18:27 left front, and later when he almost veered into the car) Less bump, more rebound? The front doesn't bite... And lacking a diff it makes the handling unpredictable. Personaly I like the front to always listen. That way I can get the rear end to follow on throttle input. Tight front, loose rear.

@AnonyMous-jf4lc
@AnonyMous-jf4lc 4 жыл бұрын
@@eyeballengineering7007 tightening the secondary would not allow the primary to "upshift". It actually sounds like the problem here is twofold. I would add heavier weights in the primary to start, this would help with off idle engagement being that it doesn't have to turn a massive track, then see if the upshifting improves. If it's backshifting good, but not upshifting, swap the helix. If the backshift is overly aggressive, take the spring down a notch or two, or replace for a lighter one.

You guys should make a cowl for the radiator if you are using a fan. The fans make a low pressure zone pulling air thru the rad but only where the blades are. If you have a cowl around the fan it makes the low pressure zone the whole rad not just the center circle. Another plus is that will add a bit of a shield to limbs and dirt on the topside of the rad too.

Awesome build only thing I would suggest is putting a guard behind the seat just in case rad pops or the hose comes off to save from those burns on the neck down the back

If you extend the skid plate further up the front end, using some thicker plate, that will add weight in the front end and provide some more protection for the driver from the sand.

I personally recommend the purple harbor freight HVLP gun for big paint jobs. Its cheap and it actually does a pretty good Job. It has saved me lots of time and money on big paint jobs. Plus it gives you alot more control.

yea u bought the right thing, most ppl get a civic radiator for projects theyre the cheapest n im all about american made but its honda, theyve absolutely earned a hell of a good reputation their engines r almost indestructible if not abused even when abused... my friend had n xr100 n he use to ride it about 4 or 5 miles from in town manchester out to us on the dirtroads near lineboro n hed hold it wide open the entire way then let us beat the hell out of it n its probably still runnin the chain bunched up n broke but we jus jb welded it n never had a problem

What an awesome project the odyssey turned out to be. I love the colors you decided to go with. Hand a lead weight out front for a little more steering control and will handle like a dream with the power to boot. I see a turbo charger in its future!!! Keep up the awesome videos guys.
