Thanks Mrs. Becker for your knowledge about Bread!! I'm on an Einkorn Wheat Bread tear currently and enjoying it !! I eat the blood type diet as I've studied it for years now and am convinced it's a great diet. I am a type 0 blood type and it's said that gluten puts weight on type 0 people so I don't mind nor do I think it's harmful for me to indulge in Einkorn Wheat because of its low gluten content. Thanks again for clearing this confusion up about the wonderful nutritious Wheat Betty.

Thank you for that. I wondered 'how much'. When I was asked, I'd just tell them,'I don't know, like a serving with each meal?'. I just enjoy making the bread and other recipes and the challenges that go with it.

I can attest that the bread is what I needed. I, after listening to Sue, went all in as well. I changed my meal planning to the bread choice first, then veggies especially adding something that isn't cooked, and then meat. We are still eating meat, daily. But, we have found that our consumption has drastically reduced. So far, we have lost - 2 of us, a combined 40 pounds! 😊 Recently, we had to make a road trip, and it was going to be another hour or so before we got home. Stopped at a store, and picked up a quick snack- chips...Want to find out what they really taste like? Stop eating them for 6 months. 😝

Thank you. Video I watched was "How much bread do we need to eat?" The protein is of concern to me. Since freshly milled grain contains protein, where does the meat fit in. Can we eliminate meat or just cut back abit?

"Hello, hello, thank you very much for sharing your experience. As a child, I remember that my father grew wheat and we also ground it and made our wheat arepas, very well known in the Venezuelan Andes. Now I have a question, because before grinding the wheat it was toasted. Do you recommend toasting it or not?" Hello! Thanks so much for asking. Toasting the bread is totally suitable and fine. We eat toasted bread very regularly. We're so glad that you're here! Thank you for commenting!

What is the most nutrient wheat grain?
@BreadBeckers
@BreadBeckers 3 ай бұрын
Just like a variety of fruits and vegetables provides a variety of nutrition, there is not one that would be considered the most nutritious. They are all nutritious! Different grains may have more of one nutrient and less of another but ALL are created to nourish our bodies! Enjoy the variety of what God has given to us!

None, not a single person on earth "needs" bread, and more than not nearly every human is better off not ever eating bread again

So not true! Ask my dr. He saw the difference in my bloodwork, he saw the difference in my physical being. He asked me what changed when I told him what I thought was doing it he said “ that’s exactly what’s making all these good changes in your body keep it up!”” It’s the natural vitamins and minerals in the fresh wheat that feeding your body”

I eat three slices a day and have lost 12 pounds in three years doing nothing else different. Won’t happen with store purchased ingredient laden breads.

False. As a former paleo than a carnivore … introducing grains back to my life has actually increased my health dramatically. I try to sourdough most of my grains and eventually I’ll freshly mill My own grains

Well, I would say you’re correct if you are referring to breads made from the highly processed chemical laden white flour sold in the stores. That type of breads are causing Americans all kinds of inflammation and health problems because it’s been stripped of all of the good nutrition that God put into the whole grains and the protein and starch that are left is out of balance for digesting this type of breads. There are very few people who have a true allergy or are celiacs that do not make the needed enzymes for their bodies to digest particular proteins in whole wheat. From my families experience the problem was the chemical residues and the stripping away of the vital nutrients, and preservatives added that caused my families problems with wheat. For years we thought that we could not eat wheat until I found Sue Becker. What a blessing she has been to my family. My family can all eat breads made from organic freshly milled wheat and our health is also improving after 16 years of being told we were gluten intolerant from medical doctors
