I visited their shop having all my fluids changed on my bike. Very cool workplace atmosphere. Bunch of cool fella’s. Justin was kind enough to let me hang out in his office the time they worked on my bike. I was willing to hang outside. Watched Chris do his burnout from Justin’s office and was thoroughly impressed 😎 And briefly spoke with Vinny. Only downside was they finished working on my bike before I could meet the man himself, Blockhead. Definitely worth the hour ride out to have em work on my bike. They do outstanding work.

That white Saddleman sets the bike off. Still dont like the bags but its w/e. I dont think youre going to notice much of a difference after 150 tbh. Larger injectors mixed with a different exhaust might get you a bit more hp but honestly, its at 133 and 151 with stock heads and injectors pretty much. The bagger can move out of its own way in a hurry. I think you want to keep it as a DD and not a track bike.

@tommym.1181 I got to 142HP, 145 torque with a ragged edge tune. Has to be 93 octane minimum to get there. 64MM throttle body, 6.3 injectors. Should be 130s with conservative tune...

Well my 2019 Street Glide started off with the 114 and I added the Screaming Eagle stage 4 kit back when I first got it and it ran great till a month ago, a Valve Spring broke just as i pulled into my driveway, well it has to have a total rebuild and the S&S 132 kit is what we went with, we had to wait on the parts but it's finally here, I hope it's worth all the hype I've been hearing. So my question right now since you had it for a year what's your view on the 132??
@joer5057 Жыл бұрын
I'm genuinely wondering about the kind of longevity these big inch kits will see. I ride my M8 a lot and pretty hard usually. A lot of what I've seen seem to indicate the bigger the cylinder bore, the weaker the skirt and thus the less lifespan. I'd love to hear about guys seeing 50k+ on builds bigger than 128. Otherwise, I'll probably just "settle" on a 124" for my 107.

Can someone explain the difference between the chain drive and a gear drive in non technical terms as an end user?
@sickwideglide Жыл бұрын
Non technical “end user” terminology. I’ll do my best…I’m going to explain why HD use’s what they use more than explaining the difference. Ok so there are a few major reasons for why a manufacturer might use chain instead of gear but here’s one basic example. Chain drive is safer, and cheaper for a manufacturer to use. It allows them greater wear limits and allows variances of up to .012” in manufacturing. It also doesn’t cost as much for them or even you if it were to ever fail. Btw: The .012” I referred to is the service wear limit that HD puts in the manual. .012” is the measure of how “round” or “not round” the end of the pinion shaft is while spinning. Gear drive requires a flywheel that is almost “true”. instead of .012” it’s service wear limit is .004”…basically thats the thickness of a human hair where as .012” is the thickness of 3 human hairs. Literally splittin hairs here, lol. There is no real significant advantage to run one vs the other on a Harley imo it’s a tomatoe tomatoe kinda thing. Hope that answers your question in a way you can understand
@SwarnimAgrawal Жыл бұрын
@@sickwideglide wow. That was very well explained. Thank you

160tq is very achievable with stock heads as well as 140hp. The heavy breather is a power killer. A 62mm HPI is also enough to make those numbers.
