It’s no contest ..others might make some pretty good pliers.. but knipex makes great pliers., the best.. I particularly love the raptor pliers.. i sewer and drain work..cleaning drains.. jetting sewers is a large part of my job and I need to be able to change nozzles fast and have to swap out fittings, quick connects etc… and I can use wrench’s, which I prefer, but I have to keep a dozen different size ones.. until I discovered the Raptors. Plus I just like the design better on the basic ones too. A quality tool

My brother was a plumber and went back in the '80s when knipex Hit the market I gave him a pair of pliers and he says I'll never use those I'm a catalog guy anyway about 2 weeks later he came in and he says give me 10 more pair of those everybody on the job wants some so those guys been using those ever since no more channel locks

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit meinen Knipex-Zangen ((Cobra XS, S,M, Zangenschlüssel S, Kobolt S), die ich habe. Ich sehe tatsächlich kaum Verschleiß! Ich erwarte (ohne Spaß), dass ich meine Zangen vererben kann. Macht Euch aber keine Hoffnungen. Mir geht es sehr gut :)

I do love my knipex pliers, it's hard to choose a favourite and I only have 30ish pairs but the 150mm pliers wrench would definitely be up there, as would the radio pliers.

what is the difference between radio pliers and needle nose pliers?

@@tallswede80 The tips are little more slender and in some situations, if you twist them along the long axis in a heavy duty situation, they might snap? That's about the only real Knipex complaint I've heard over at The Garage Journal. I have a comfort grip version of some radio pliers and they're in my top 3 for favorite Knipex. (Also, 10" Cobra and 10" pliers wrench.)

@@tallswede80 Knipex "radio" style pliers, like my 26 12 200, which are generally just sold as "long nose pliers." Others, like Snap On Talon Gripos, have beefier tips and can take more abuse, but I like these Knipex for most things. Just don't go levering or twisting against sturdy things along the long axis.

Yeah they're a hefty price but as someone who carries his hand tools on his waist for 8+hrs a day I need them to work every day like they did the day before so the price is worth it to me.
