I said it in the Izzy interview; DJ these in-person episodes are the best because your good energy just livens the conversation up another level. You bring the same energy in an online call, but it doesn't have the same feel, sadly. Of course these are a treat and I appreciate anytime you do these!

Never thought i would love hearing Jits nerd's discuss their craft. Im super excited to see the young fella in One MMA. Very well spoken and scary athletic. Obviously very well raised that can't be taught by a team that you pay for that's learned from household from day one. So salute to the parents for raising a wonderful tandem of young men.

This should have thousands of views. GOAT in mma and kid with opportunity to be goat grappler or work his way up in MMA as well. Saw him training with chito for striking like he’s gonna have tons of potential. Get with great striking coaches , keep working on the wrestling and wall wrestling and still do enough jiujitsu to stay sharp. Can’t wait to see him make his MMA debut as well.

That point about his "surfer strength" was really fascinating to me. I've heard a few people theorize that Alex Pereira's left hook is so insane because of his practice with archery; putting extra work in with those specific muscle groups. Another possible example: Imagine a monster overhand from a baseball pitcher with 90 mph fastball. Granted they'd have little incentive to transfer to combat sports with that skill, but its crazy to think about.

Tony Ferguson was a pitcher, before fighting. Stipe Miocic played in college and was planning to go pro. Scott holtzman, Jeremy Stevens, Dominick Reyes as well.
