In a world full of negativity and toxicity, Merab's and Aljo's relationship is a breath of fresh air. It is so special to watch and runs deep. These men are bonded by an intense love and genuine affection. So rare and we need more of this in this society. They have spent countless hours in the gym sweating in eachother. They cry together. They go to war together. And now they can finally and passionately embrace and rejoice together as world champions.

This was a very chill conversation and was fun to be reminded how "celebrities" are just regular people. I think it's more true of MMA fighters than other celebs.

People don’t realize that Although aljo had quick turn around Sean o malley had broken ribs and couldn’t practice grappling before his aljo fight and said he went down he knew his ribs would mean he wasn’t going to be able to fight
@jocoolshowАй бұрын
Aljo had other injuries lingering from the Cejudo fight and couldn’t do a training camp at 100% either. O’Malley also has 10 months to prepare for a grappler (either Aljo or Cejudo). And that’s only the physical aspect, not even the mental aspect O’Malley knew that date was when he wanted to fight and was mentally focused and ready to get the belt then. Aljo was forced into a date he didn’t want and wasn’t as locked in as O’Malley. You could say that’s his fault and you wouldn’t be wrong, but it most likely would’ve been different had he gotten the fight when he wanted instead of when Sean wanted
@fiorebellum69Ай бұрын
@@jocoolshow Sean couldn’t grapple even though he trained for it prior the injury meant he couldn’t go to the ground so the 10 month prep didn’t matter in the grappling he broke his ribs and stopped and accepted he had to keep it standing and aljo shouldn’t have agreed to the fight it wasn’t forced he agreed after being pressure but he’s a grown man
@Jedi007c6Ай бұрын
@@jocoolshow. Wow, you must be a joe biden supporter with all the excuses you come up with . I'm actually impressed.
@jocoolshowАй бұрын
@@Jedi007c6 It’s the literal facts. I don’t know about you, but when fighters I’m interested in fight, I tend to watch their interviews, channels if they have platforms etc. This is all information that came from both Sean and Aljo’s sides of the story And the reason why we can reasonably assume it’s facts and not excuses is because Merab, who’s physically not as strong as, has less finishing potential, and doesn’t have as clean committed takedown entries as Aljo was able to pretty much ragdoll Sean when he got in on him He legit said if I could do that to Sean, imagine what a healthy Aljo would’ve done to him
