Wil’Iam I love the channel and thank you so much for all your efforts in promoting Torah and the truth of Hashem. Just a word of hopefully, helpful feedback. Perhaps you can continue to improve a little on production of the show? We can usually hear your computer receiving notifications or a dead end screen noise like in todays show etc. Today we could hear some typing in the background. There is usually an issue with getting callers on or their volume on. I feel your work is so important and you are a wonderful host of the show that maybe bringing someone in to help with production could be very valuable. I’ll enjoy the show even if the production stays the same, but maybe stepping things up to the next level could help grow the channel and reach even more souls desperate to hear the word of Hashem. Much love brother!

@@tenaktalk maybe moving some of the more popular shows or adding shows behind a Patreon account can help with that? Loyal fans these days are happy to pay for content they want to see. I don’t know how KZbin ad revenue works, but maybe connecting with other large KZbin channels can help with that. If you speak with Derek from Mythvision, I’m sure he can give some tips to growing a revenue stream. I know he takes super chat questions on shows he’s done with R Singer. I donated to the request you sent out, but maybe there are other ways to generate more revenue for the channel. All the best my friend and may your brother have a refuah sheleymah!

Rabbi Tovia does not understand anything about Jesus because he's not experienced the power. He's never been a Great High Priest passing beyond the veil and into the presence of God. You have to understand the power and presence of God, the Shekinah Glory, the Holy Spirit, to fully understand Jesus, Christianity and even the Dead Sea Scrolls. There are various moves that occur concerning the development of Christianity: 1) From Essenism where the law and the prophets regulate life in the first covenant which was exclusively Jewish 2) then John the Baptist comes: "the law and the prophets are in effect until John comes then it is Kingdom living" Luke 16:16 but "not one dot or iota will pass from the law until heaven and earth pass away" Luke 16:17. Now the new covenant begins where regulation is by kingdom living and the power of the Holy Spirit not the law and the prophets (though of course they are still relevant on earth). This is Jesus's ministry on earth. Unfortunately, John the Baptist, who was probably the other messiah was executed. There were two messiahs in the Dead Sea Scrolls possibly. The messiah of Aaron and the messiah of Israel. The next progression is 3) Jesus dies and goes to the right hand of the Father to send the power upon his apostles including eventually St. Paul who teaches under the power of the Holy Spirit about Christology. Christology is beyond the veil theology in the presence of God where everything is timeless (no entropy or arrow of time), spiritual (no solid matter) and therefore everything is complete now, paradoxically. It's a case of stepping back into the Garden of Eden, the Holy of Holies, into the heavenlies and anchorjng yourself in the Shekinah Glory. It's the world to come or kingdom come which is paradoxically now.

It's the "Lord's Prayer" which turned me to Judaism, praise God. It freed me from false belief in Christianity. I had been meditating on the Lord's prayer since 2018 and so many questions arose, and no one in my church could answer my questions without utilizing sophistry to explain away the obvious monotheistic and anti-christology message. I really did try very hard to think I was wrong but the message is just so clear, and it prompted me to reread the Torah in a completely new lense... and so now I love the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob they way God intended, and love the Torah and Jewish people. Perhaps one day I'll convert to Judaism fully, but for now, being Noahide is what is appropriate for my marriage's sake.

It is not necessary to call a synagogue and ask permission to attend. Anyone is welcome to attend services in a synagogue. No one should be treated badly. Perhaps if a person does not behave appropriately, they will be asked to leave. But if the guest is being respectful, he or she should have no problem. I live in NY and I have never seen a guest not treated well. But I have heard from others, that in other parts of the country, guests have not been treated well or made welcome. I personally have never seen that happen. I want to amend what I wrote. I haven't been to services since the Covid lockdowns. Perhaps since Covid and the terrorist attacks in shuls since then, perhaps synagogues have become more cautious. Perhaps they want to know who is coming in. Perhaps fear has changed things. I wrote about a time before these insane days we are now living in these past 2 years.

Not to go in a church oh boy. I remember as a boy going to some for a wedding and I think funerals with my parents. Now the last time I visited a grandparent at the cemetery was in 2015. Long story short my mother was a foster child who bounced around from home to home until she became the daughter of her parents who took her in. Her foster dad was the only grandfather that I ever knew and an Italian Roman Catholic and is buried in and being you rabbi were a former new Yorker are familiar with St John's cemetery. I have mentioned before I was influenced by my uncle who became a born again Christian when I was a teenager and the last time I visited the cemetery was 2015 under the influence until 2018 when I began watching you I dropped being a born again Christian. I don't know if I will ever see my grandfather again if I even visit NYC overall. Good show it felt strange not watching any rabbi last week with passover happening.

@@haroldraley8197 How can anyone say the Father is Jewish? He has no religious belief. He's the standard. His begotten Son came from the roots of Judah. The Father chose Israel as His ppl. Amos 3:1-2 and Jerusalem as a place to put His name forever. This is why Rev 21 calls the eternal city, NEW JERUSALEM. This stems from the promise made to Abraham in Genesis 15:18. The new Jerusalem is that continued eternal promise made to Israel in the new heaven and earth. The Father is not Jewish. He's the Almighty and there is no other. From Judah came the scepter, Messiah. But the Birthright belonged to Joseph. Here's a saying for you; the Jews are Israelites but not all Israelites are Jews. @@thomasprice8127 Wow such knowledge! Can you clear something up for me? If the Jesus was begotten in the eternal past, then how is Israel Hashem’s first born? Israel would have to be born before the Jesus… you can’t really say Jesus was begotten without Mary because the Greek bible says that Jesus is the son of a woman. So was Jesus begotten with Mary before Mary exsisted? But that doesn’t work, because the “spirit” came and made Mary pregnant after she was engaged to Joseph so that is when the begetting happened.. Hmmmm… smells like a big fat lie.

Even though I am a christian I stay away from thier churches, most of them are crazy. I love the Torah now since im pretty lazy since I can just follow Isiah 55:7 without the theatrics. Even Jesus himself said, hey, not so fast buddies, dont follow me but do the will of hasheem. I cant recall the sin of Jacob, but i know its effect permeates till today. If that can be atoned by just getting rid of all that stuff then it should be done quickly. People have psychological attachment to physical things, some useful and most is just junk.

The earliest traditions in the Church understood the word to refer to God's passive will rather than his active will. The preceeding verbs ("thy kingdom come," "thy will be done," "give us this day," "forgive us") are in the imperative, but "lead" is not. It means something like "don't revoke your grace from us when we face temptation". A parallel grammatical situation occurs when we read that God "hardened Pharoah's heart" but interpret it to mean "God allowed Pharoah's heart to be hardened." Another early Patristic tradition sees it through the lens of "trial" (a la Job). By this interpretation, we're asking God to spare us the test Job faced, recognizing that our faithfulness is incomplete and dependent upon God's mercy. This makes sense because just two chapters prior to this, Christ himself was "put to the test" (same verb) and emerged the victor.

He can forgive any sin & it bothers me people have come up with formulas & they make it out he is not all powerful to do as he feels best. I can trust him & his judgments & to fulfill why he made me his child . This has made me very unpopular amongst former Christian friends & it’s really distressing that they preach I am doomed & without God without going through, Yeshua first -even he taught us his father was the one to go to & place our faith in . Matthew 6 teaches this. Apostle Paul teaches many things contradictory to Yeshua & it’s really amazing how people do not see this that treasure his teachings - based many times on Torah- which they want to eliminate too as a guiding force of instruction. I do believe I might be a Jewish soul & it’s true I have various names in my Norwegian family that points to this - so, maybe this is too why since a child I turned to only , HaShem. What matters though is my heart belongs to him. Thank you for your info & Shalom

The Rabbi's misunderstanding around 9:00 about forgiveness and atonement is not uncommon. He says that Christ's words here are at odds with St. Paul's understanding of atonement. This is not so. Christians will recognize that Christ's work on the Cross is the only sufficient atonement. So how do we understand "forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us"? The answer is in some of Christ's last words: "forgive them, Father, for they know not what they do." "Our" work of forgiving others, as Christians, is not really "ours" at all. "My" forgiving someone else avails me nothing. Rather, the extent to which I have allowed Christ to conform me into his image is the extent to which I can forgive another man. But it is ultimately not "me" forgiving anyone, but me allowing Christ to forgive through me. As Christians, we are grafted into the ultimate act of forgiveness of the Passion.

The Nazarenes and Ebionites (the original Jewish Jesus followers), never preached that Jesus was an atonement sacrifice, nor a sin sacrifice, nor a Passover sacrifice. If they did not preach it, then they never heard of it or believe it. It is purely a Pauline invention. In fact, the Nazarene Jews never practiced "blood" sacrifices of any kind...According to Peter, Jesus came to eliminate the "blood" sacrificial system so why would he be a "blood" sacrifice if he came to eliminate the "blood sacrificial system", replacing them with water baptism for the remission of sins (instead of sacrifices).

The Holy Spirit Father is not Jewish or any other belief. The Lord's prayer is to the Father. He's the standard for all. His begotten Son was a Jew from the tribe of Judah. Before the Son came in the flesh, He was the visible image of the invisible Father who is the Holy Spirit, and the visible image is just as eternal as the Father. Colossians 1 :15-20. This visible image was with the Father before the foundation of the earth was laid. This can be seen in John 1:1-18 and John 17:5.

I'm sorry, I didn't grab why Jesus' generic prayer template wasn't a Jewish type of prayer? Jesus prays to the Father, and he encourages others to pray to God. Jesus did not demand that people pray to himself. That would have been unthinkable. Jesus prays "that the kingdom will come" (obviously the Messianic Kingdom age). Jesus prays that God's "will be done on earth as it is in heaven", not "my will be done". (Again for the Messianic Age. Is this not a Jewish wish as well?). Jesus prays to God to "give us this day our daily bread" (Nazarenes were vegetarians who lived on pot-herbs, olives, bread, salt, and water)...nothing pagan there, the wandering Israelites lived on manna and water for 40 years? (Lord, provide us each day, everything to sustain us) Jesus prays for God to "forgive us our sins" (as we should forgive those who do us wrong). How is this wrong? Cannot Jews forgive people who do them wrong? Or, is it only God who can forgive sins? (Lord, forgive me of my sins, as I should forgive those who do me wrong) Jesus prays to God to "not "lead" us into temptation". In this, the Rabbi may be a little disingenuous. He should know that it should be "keep" us from temptation. (Lord, keep us from being tempted) Jesus continues, but "deliver us from evil". Meaning, that if we are tempted, give us the way out. (Lord, keep us from being tempted, but if we are tempted, help us to overcome the temptation). Jesus continues, "for Yours is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever". What Jew would not pray that? I suspect if Jesus never had existed and that Bob Mousekiwitz had prayed that prayer instead of Jesus, the Rabbi would have no problem with it? I could be wrong. Again I ask...what part of the prayer is not Jewish, or a Jew won't pray?

About G-d keeping us from sin. The XT declares that we are led into sin by our own desires because we have free will to sin.
