Eighth of a mile drag racing is as exciting as watching paint dry. Quarter mile is king. If it’s not 1/4 mile, then it’s not racing.

That's right.... growing up that's all my family did even in the streets... and when we were in the streets it seemed like the 1/4 was 2 miles.... I do not like the 1/8 mile at all they need band it...

@@davideldridge2537 No it isn’t. The same rules apply to the quarter mile. There have been races that have been decided at the tree dozens of times. So it isn’t any harder.

The track was having problems with the score board on the right side, but the timing system was working fine.

I'm sorry but maybe someone can explain how Experienced well seasoned Stick car drivers get to the Stick shift Nationals and turn on every RED BULB in the joint .. repeatedly every time they line up ? Did these men just forget how to leave Or did they turn over driving duty's to the wife Or Son ?

1/8 Mile racing is for people who can't handle a full on pass in a car..It's better than nothing though for someone who loves to get out there and race.
