The "AA is active, get better equipmemt cooldowns" skills are becoming more and more valuable

It's a scam tho. The tier 2 skill is only helpful wenn you reach the new consumable while the aa is active otherwise it jumps back to regular reload time

@@TheKasperlkopf Of course it jumps back to the normal cooldown time, but for the time your AA is active, the remaining cooldown goes down faster. For example, let's say you have 50 seconds of cooldown remaining on some consumable, and a plane enters your AA, which activates the -50% cooldown time. Now the game displays 25 seconds. The planes stay in your AA for 10 seconds, during which time the 25 s goes down to 15 s. Now the planes exit your AA, and the 15 s turns into 30 s. Overall, in 10 seconds your consumable cooldown goes down by 20 seconds thanks to the perk, which means it worked exactly as it was supposed to.

Having fought many of the testers in the Utrecht a good month before they even added these ships for the early access, I found that you can't let these things get to their little islands. If you don't kill them before they get to the island and they have even a half-decent DD user that can spot for them, they'll have almost full control of that part of the map just through airstrikes alone unless you have your own dutch cruiser to airstrike them back. So definitely not an overhype, those things are obscene to deal with, and it gets even worse to handle late game with one of those on the enemy team.

Whenever there's an early access I always grab the t7 or t8 you get for free and never bother going further. That way by the time the ships hit the tech tree permanantly I usually ahve a trained up captain and enough xp to get the next ship straight away anyway

Getting the Jaarsveld for free is a great change of pace from wargaming, especially after the Christmas event pass. Despite that, I will be buying the second line of this for those awesome skins for Jaarsveld and Gooey Louie and the other rewards.

Skins are a waste of money to me but one girl's trash is another man's treasure. I was OK with paying for tier 7 premiums that came with a ton of extra resources and containers given the price they were asking for them compared to what you would normally pay for a tier 7 ship. Not saying the Christmas event this year wasn't tighter than it was last year because it most definitely was, I'm just saying I felt like I got good value out of my money.

I always find it funny when you show the captain builds and say, ~~'its a 21 pointer, you probably won't have it for the tier 8' Listen, I have 1 21 pointer and 16 tier 10 ships, it takes a while a while to get those. 😅 But I do agree with the build choice, for a 10p cptn I would pick, starting from the top and left, skills 6,6,5,5 and then either adrenaline or more hp, depending on how I feel.

LOL those are rookie numbers son you've got to pump them up! I get it though. At this point I have..... about 32 tier 10 ships and 4 US 21 point commanders, 1 French, 1 German and 1 British. A lot of people were mad about the commander reworks but I'm thankful I was able to set up my commanders to play multiple ship types with builds customized to each ship type.

My experience playing against airstrikes is that the majority of people don't know how to aim them or that they are fairly easy to dodge if you aren't distracted by other threats attacking you.

The guns are almost popgun, but punchy and fire chance are low. Shell trajectory are good, and reload decently fast. I never get the airstrike quirk anyway so can't say much on this. AA is pretty good, and seems worth to full built it.

Can you compare the "7 Provinces" with the "Jaarsveld"? That would be interesting for me, since I seem not to be able to hit with the airstrikes (13 km) of the 7 Provinces.

De 7 has one of the hardest airstrikes in the game to use. The target window is ABSURDLY small and easy to dodge for anything but a completely stationary target. That ship so needs a buff and doubling the size of the target window would certainly be a good start.

I'm really looking forward to the review of the Zao buffs. They look very interesting. I don't think this line of Ditch light cruisers is going to be very good in the hands of players that don't have PQ's level of play. Six months from now, I bet we don't see a lot of this line, but I haven't played them yet.

I think you shouldn't take a lot of dmg in light cruisers...i mean if the battleship shells are so big that the punsh through and dont explode the ship takes little dmg. But on the other side you get take massiv dmg from everything else. Heavy cruisers can tank other cruiser and dd shells but cant handle BBs... Maybe battle ships will get different amo typ...shells with shorr fuse and one with longee fuse? Or is it just more effective to shot HE on light cruisers?

Depends on the ships in question. British BBs are almost always best off using HE on anything that isn't flat broadside. French BBs will almost always get AP over pens because of the tremendous shell velocity. Low shell velocity for American BBs gives them a better chance at arming AP. Size of the guns matter too. There is a lot of difference in what is going to over pen between a 305 and a 460+ shell. I'm not even close to an expert on this subject either, because a lot of the mechanics of shell damage are highly technical and require you to know the characteristics of a lot of different ships and guns. There are KZbinrs that do deep dives into the subject if you are interested though.

British bbs mostly have short fuse which is awesome to shoot light cruisers with, so really you want to shoot ap at cruisers and HE at dds + bbs unless they are close/broadside

Against the Iwam? You are lucky that he didn't get the 10.5km secondaries active or you'd be toast. But almost no one play this ship with full secondaries, even when it is the best choice. But of course, you can easily get out of range, light cruiser are fast enough ;-)

PQ you need to turn down your constant complaining. Play the game, show the strengths and weaknesses of the ships, show the best methods to avoid or mitigate those mechanics. The last videos are all the same, complaining about drops, complaining about CVs or Subs or how bad Battleships are and how you should do more dmg and so on. Its a series of WoWS criticism with diffrent ships in the background. by the way, i think your aim is often not the best. You try so hard to work against the aim assist, that you mess up some shot completely...
