I am sorry there are a few more ads on here than I like. I set this up at 6am and got caught in the fields and didn’t realize I can’t edit that function from my phone. I love you all

Nice! I struggle to get 1000 bales put up in a day but im also by myself. If you're going to out up a lot of hay, it's impossible to do it by yourself. No matter what equipment you have.

Great video! We had a wheel come off a brand new 1840 on the road 2 seasons ago 🤯 Waiting to see videos of the dryers in action. Getting small rains every 48-72 hours again this year in eastern Canada……thinking about a dryer.

I had a near side rear wheel come off the pickup truck the day after it had been in the garage, it was on the road, i never felt a thing either beforehand, all was good after we ,managed to find the wheel which bounced over a hedge in to a farmers field😊.

Always good to see Carl. I guess I am getting soft in my old age, but when I saw Carl and your Dad in open station tractors, I thought, why aren't they in cab tractors.
@FarmingInsider5 ай бұрын
It’s honestly their choice. They are old school and like it. Trust me, they could have any tractor they want

Just curious what your herbicide program is is on your orchard grass, Timothy and alfalfa. I struggle with small foxtail type grass after my first cutting. Also some weeds. Thanks.
@FarmingInsider5 ай бұрын
We don’t have much of an herbicide program on mixes. Occasionally 2-4db. We hit grasses with 2-4d

Thanks, that’s what I use. Thought you might have something better.

Would you consider the swing max from marcrest? So you have less baler operators and more people helping clearing bales?
@FarmingInsider4 ай бұрын
We’d love to try it. Price is a little bit of a hang up

Have you considered the Marcrest 210 Baler? It would be at a higher production level than either 1840 or 1842.
@FarmingInsider5 ай бұрын
We have ran it and get to run it a little more shortly. It’s definitely higher production

We don’t really have a set number. Just when good deals come along. Like this year we paid the dealer a chunk to just go through all of them instead of replace. New equipment is getting outrageous
