I was running WWB 55 grain ball through my 14.5" suppressed earlier this week and the average velocity was 3020fps. SD was 24 but ES was 100 lol. Proof CF barrel, most groups are 0.75-1.5moa which is more than acceptable for how it is used.

@@operatorsanonymous1741 Indeed, kinda took me by surprise but the Garmin Xero chrono is pretty accurate and consistent so I don't have any reason to doubt it.

@texlee1640 I get 2954 with WWB M193. Monarch 5.56 I get 3040fps though.

Great demonstration! I think the advantage of the SPR is *not* improved engagement range versus a GPR and I think your evidence (as well as the recent 9 Hole Reviews video on the URGI shows) proves that on full size silhouettes that hit probability is still really good with a GPR. I think the true advantages of the SPR are when you need higher power optics for PID or reconnaissance, targets get small/take cover or when you really want to improve your hit probability past 400 yards. The tradeoff is more weight and worse performance within 100 yards. For civilians, especially home defenders or dudes not working in a team, the GPR is more valuable.

Would you mind repeating this specifically with the badland munitions 85gr shellshock rounds in a 14.5? The data for the 16 inch barrels is out there but I'm curious if the 85gr pills in a 14.5 specifically with that new case design they have for that load holds any merit.

I run M855 with all my guns. Also a halfway between 55 grain and 77 so you can throw both in without THAT much deviation. Use green tip with my 18” 2x12 leupold and make consistent center mass hits at 500 yd.

The only thing about m855 it gets blown around a lot, it’s moving slower that 55gr and its lighter than 77gr so it gets bullied around more than both the 55gr and 77gr. Wind might not be a factor in your area but where I live I’ve really noticed it.

500-700 with a 1-8 Credo and Ball.. Well done and good intel. Thx! May I ask what type of barrel, Lightweight or Medium contour? Always wondering if the slightly additional weight of the medium is worth it. Thx

When Your Right? Your Right? Most People Can’t Achieve Them Results. However A Human Size Target At 600 Yards Is A Chip Shot. So Tired Of All These Videos Of 6 Inch Plate At 1000-1200 Yards. That’s The Melon Size On Someone’s Head & Almost All People Cannot Come Close To That. All You Have To Do Is Make 1 Hit On Human Size & It’s Over. Maybe Not Immediately However Their Out Of Fight & Done Within 1/2 Hour Because Of The Tumbling Affect The 5.56 Is Once It Hits Target. Excellent Footage. Stay After It.👍🤛
