After getting my truck running, it only took 20 miles for the rotors to slip off center under hard braking and vibrate above 30 mph... I am going to turn the heads of two of the studs in a lathe so they go inside the rotor hole press fit. This will center the rotor and prevent it from slipping on the other studs.

Jay Walker The Dorman brand studs I used fit the rotors holes perfectly, but the splined section was a bit shorter so the ID of the stud hole in the rotor didn't have contact with the splines just the smooth shoulder of the stud. I just used my press and pushed them in REAL hard, just enough to deform the head of the stud just a bit and it was perfect. Sorry to hear you had the trouble. My truck isn't a daily driver, but i have about 200 miles on my setup and smooth sailing so far.

When you do the next overview video, think about including some info about wheel fitment. I worked on that today and found the 16" Chevy pickup wheels don't clear the 77 Cadillac Eldorado caliper I am using. The 16" diameter of the wheel is okay, but the wheel needs to have about 1/2 " less backspace than stock to position the rim center outboard away from the caliper. My buddy suggested I grind some off the side of the caliper, but I am going to try to find a pickup wheel with less backspace that will still fit under the fender of my 1948 Chevy panel truck. Maybe a 17" Chev or Dodge wheel will fit.

Thats a good idea I will put some thought into it. My swap is with front calipers with no park brake.

I am using dorman 610 333 what did you use...or what was the application

+Jay Walker I used the Dorman 610-194 originally designed for a dually application. Same size lug threads as original, just with a longer length. I picked them up from my local Advance Auto for $1.99 a piece.
