You are very sneaky with that controller. i never thought of these types of shots before. I'm glad you freely share them.

Great tips! I also must say the Scottish highlands are a drone photographer's dream -- beautiful landscape and no trees! Nothing to worry about on the dolly and back away shots . . .
@calledtojourney22 күн бұрын
Excellent tips! Also, drones that can follow waypoints can do almost any shot you want without you holding the controller.

So,from a photographer's pov, it's 1. Find interesting frame A in scene 2. Find interesting frame B 3. Find interesting way to move between them to capture the feeling of moving through the picture :D Putting yourself gives scale to the landscape. Otherwise it's, 'just a field' :)

So many useful tips. Thankyou. Im just a beginner and bought Neo 2 weeks ago. So looking forward to practicing now. Im a Scot living in Berkshire but have visited many places where you film like Arran, Skye, and even Wanlockhead. Jealous!

Good spot on Wanlockhead! That was a new find for us only a few years ago.

Greg tips, thanks. Will have to try a few of these for my cycling videos……it’s always a multitask challenge when riding the bike and getting a good dynamic drone shot. 👍

Hey! If you're looking to colour grade drone videos with vibrant colours like orange, green, and blue, what software would you recommend? Any tips or suggestions would be awesome, thanks!
@SpiritOfPhotographyАй бұрын
Nice ideas. Some of course need a little practice with steering the drone while not looking at the screen ;)

Hi, i like your videos and I’m just getting into flying my drone with a remote. I have a general question. I see so many of these control based stick maneuvers but it must be under the assumption that everyone is using the same stick mode. What is the general stick mode everyone uses? Is it Left stick (ascend:descend and rotate left/right) and right stick (forward/backwards and go left/go right)? I don’t use this but i think everyone does and i think your tutorial is based on this. Thanks for confirming and helping the newb out. Thank you
@DroneFilmGuideАй бұрын
Thanks for the question! Yes, the stick mode we are using is as you describe. This has always been the default set up for DJI drones, and it’s what we learnt on in 2014. You are right, there are other options, but this is certainly the most common version.

hello Stewart. I just purchased the DJI Neo and RC. How do i film in slow motion? some of my clips seem to be jerky. It doesn’t turn around slow? I’m an amateur with this new technology. I want to video my construction projects. I build houses.
