Interesting, Luminar allows one to adjust thing sieyhouy masking and layers in photoshop brushing stuff just to improve the eyes. This is definitely nice feature. 5:06 But I can probably do it in Photoshop, but if doing many shots that's not optimal, but it snot sometimes I would need often. So fs rive not needed to.

I get my drone in a couple days, but my understanding is that you can’t use the manual exposure mode with the phone so how did you control those sunrises and sunset pictures and for example, also when your subject was walking into the forest, the light changed pretty radically but the exposure didn’t thanks

Do you know if the NEO is relying on GPS, meaning satellite data in the easy drone shot or circle mode? Or is it simply focusing on the subject?

Love your channel. I'm a noob Neo pilot, and this video in particular has been brilliant. I have a ton of questions, but here's two- what lights (like you use towards the end of the vid) would you recommend for the neo, and what's your opinion in the third party accessories, like tailfins, landing gear etc? Would love to see a vid on simple nodding for the neo...

77 years old I am. Jumped into the AI world last year. Totally amazing. I found out about CapCut this morning. Watched a few confusing videos then found this one. 10 hours ago I knew nothing about where to get what I wanted. A neighbors daughter told me about CapCut I found it and you taught me how to use it. So tomorrow morning I will pull out my puppets, make a short video and CapCut it Thank You Ron in Los Angeles

Would like DJI to add "Camera" with timed shots, say 5 Sec & 10 Sec intervals to All the NEO preset shooting modes. At present think only the "Circle" mode offers timed photos. Only offering the "Video" Camera Mode is a bit limiting

*I have a question Stewart, how are you maintaning VLOS (Visual Line of Sight) when controlling the drone from within the car?*
@19ab5910 күн бұрын
Hi Steward, thanks for the time putting in this video. Maybe you can help me on this. I have the HoverAir X1 Pro at the moment. Also just bought the Neo Motion Fly More combo with the Goggles N3. haven't tried it yet because I'm not sure if will return it. The reason I bought is because I like fly manually to capture landscapes and things like that. I thought flying with the goggles would be easier to do because everything is in front of you. Greetz Ab

I do alot of work filming for construction companies I love my DJI 1000 the sdc port can charge an air 3 battery before the one in the drone runs out. I used to leave my truck idling all day to keep charging batteries the amount of engine wear and fuel the 1000 saves me is an easy justification. the only downside is the weight to load and unload it

I bought the Jackery 300 which is not as useful as I thought would be. The best and cheapest solution in my opinion, DC power inverter and just buy extra batteries.

I bought an ecoflow river from amazon off a deal. You can charge it via wall outlet or buy solar panels after wards. I keep it in my car for charging my drone stuff it charges surprisingly fast
@t.s.thomas0214 күн бұрын
We have a large capacity Eco-Flow power bank which was justified on the basis of backup power for storm-induced power failures for keeping food preserved in our home. Simultaneous solar charging was a plus considering fuel resupply might not be possible. Once you have something like this, I believe that utilizing it for multiple other uses is great. But *IF* it cannot be justified, one might try the DC-to-AC inverter with an investment in one or two automotive or marine batteries. This is also based on the assumption that vehicle-transportability is good enough instead of human-backpack portability. The more portability you need, the lighter you should go. I wouldn’t discount the possibility of at least having access to a generator along with the power bank but this month’s budget probably doesn’t include that for me.

You’ve convinced me. I’m going to try hlg on my next real estate shoot. D-log M is always a pain to deal with in davinci and its really tough to get it to look right in a lot of scenarios. The greens always look weird to me too when matching shots with my Lumix S5ii which I think has great colors from V-log.

I've resisted getting one of these. I usually take more than one camera or drone with me, and have multiples batteries. So I've never run out of power while out of filming. But if would consider getting a powerstation, the DJI Power 1000 would be my choice. Thanks for sharing Stewart.

It's nice to hear a bit of common sense being talked about these nice to have but expensive power banks and the alternatives. If I was building a log cabin out in the woods, I'd go for a £250 petrol generator. It would be cheaper, more powerful and the noise would scare offbears, wolves and wild haggis.

Great video, as always! I’ve been using my 650W EcoFlow for the past three years, and it’s been a game changer. I take it on road trips, use it to charge my devices, drone, and other gear, and power a laptop and screens off-grid while traveling. With an external solar panel, I can stay completely self-sufficient for days in nature. It’s become an essential part of my setup-I couldn't live without it!
@mrtievolimedia14 күн бұрын
Just to continue on from my last point, you're comparing a USB adapter that still requires a car to power it. Not much use if you're flying drones up Ben Nevis or in the middle of a forest. These power stations are very heavy though so you'll be best to get a trolley or something to transport it. Personally I wouldn't buy a power station if I know I was going to be close to a power point at all times. To me if the ability to go anywhere in the world and be able to access power.
@mrtievolimedia14 күн бұрын
I'm a filmmaker and I rate these power stations big time. I bought the Anker version. Over 1000 Watt hrs with multiple outputs. Great for powering the most powerful lights and gear when plug sockets are non existent. No need to scramble around looking for a plug socket, simply use one of these and you can run almost anything, anywhere. Never used it to charge my drone on the fly though as 3 batteries is more than enough for most of my projects but ultimately it does output quite high wattages so it would charge as fast as DJI's power station. My thing with batteries is brands vs price. I use V Mount batteries from K&F Concept which are over 3 times cheaper than the branded SMALLRIG's and NEEWER's. From my experience, brand doesn't effect the battery's performance so find the best deal you can regardless of brand. That goes for power stations too. And from what I can tell DJI's prices are actually quite reasonable
