I love the way you love Utah, love the way you love national parks, and love your lovely family! Watching your KZbin posts has become my lunch break entertainment 😂😂 I just purchased the Capitol Reef itinerary from your website. I had been to Capitol Reef 21 years ago and I am bringing my girl there tomorrow. How exciting! Thank you very much for all your efforts!👍👍

Excellent video thanks for posting, me and my wife did the mighty 5 and I always tell her the one regret was not staying longer in capitol reef. Its in that awkward part between Zion/Bryce and Moab...it's pretty much the park in the middle, so most people doing the mighty 5 do this on the way to either Moab, or on their way to Bryce and zion. This park was fricken amazing and you just showed more parts I regret missing. Anyone doing the mighty 5 I highly highly recommend staying 2 days to fully take this park in. As 'we're in the rockies' reviewed the park is much less crowded than the other parks, which is amazing, the park feels so intimate as a result. But please know, the only reason it's not as popular is because it's in between the two major places to stay when doing the mighty 5. This park is awesome, great video appreciate the post!

Love your videos! Thanks for another great one! Wish we could go to the Utah National parks every year. They are amazing and we still haven't been to that one. Last time we visited Utah I was skeptical about Capitol Reef because it seemed so remote. Thanks for sharing so many great trails! We'll for sure check it out next time. 😃

Really good video. I already figured out that Capitol Reef is a hidden gem of National Parks in Utah. But your video really helped convince me even more. Perhaps some day I can visit, hopefully.

Loved this video. We’ve been to Capitol Reef many times but now I need to go again. We feel like we’ve missed some important sites.

Another great video, full of information. I first heard of this place from another youtuber, but not nearly as much information. I've added it to my "hope to make it " list and added an asterisk to review your video. Thanks for sharing it with us and Happy Mothers Day Cheryl.

Thank you Scott. It's always nice to see our comments and it was very nice of you to wish me a happy Mother's Day. I'm blessed to have had to opportunity to be the mother to 3 sons and a daughter. I hope you have a nice day too.

Great video. Thanks for the tips! We are looking forward to visiting Capitol Reef for the first time! Love the Teddy Roosevelt shirt. Where'd you find it? It'd be perfect for my history teacher husband.

Wow it is a beautiful park. Can’t understand why Capitol Reef ranks so low on most “favorite national parks” lists. Awesome video guys!

Hi Matt and Cheryl. Thanks to gleaning from all your Yellowstone tips and Grand Teton, we had an amazing time last fall. Due to your latest videos on Capitol Reef, we decided to go in April to avoid summer crowds. We managed to get three nites in Fruita Campground and we are getting excited. My question to you is, can you recommend a place to take a shower? I can't find any info yet. WE would great appreciate it. Thank you and keep up the great-info packed videos. HIking Grammy Ruby = )

We're happy to hear you had a great trip to Yellowstone and Teton's! Wonderland RV has showers. You could check with them to see if they allow other campers to use their showers. Best of luck!

I love your videos as well as both your friendly personalities. This park looks lovely, but not having a restaurant, bathrooms, gas station or ability to access GPS is a slight turn-off. I know, plan ahead, pack ahead, all that, but Zion might be the better way - despite the intense crowds. Hm. Thoughts?
@WereintheRockies9 ай бұрын
Obviously a preference. We can’t think of a prettier place than Zion, and if we had to choose, we’d take Zion. But Capitol Reef is special as well.

Geology is boring to you and you live in a fantastic geological area. I love geology, especially rock formations. I'm from Texas and we do not have the rock wonders that exist out west. That's why I make a journey to Yellowstone/Teton each year. Last year due to an early Yellowstone snow storm I had to detour thru the NE section of Utah and was amazed at the beautiful rock formations just along the interstate. I want to visit Utah's big 5 with Capitol Reef and Bryce being my top 2. I can't hike so the drives in Capitol Reef make it more enticing. Enjoyed your video as usual.
