Thank you so much for this video! I have the sv41, my father used while doing his "Radio & Fernsehtechniker" studies and we've used it recently while repairing an amplifier. Noticed the noise too. Ordered new vishay elcos and will replace the transistor too, with the added resistors. Basically I will repeat your video ;).

Thank you for interesting review and repair. SV41 is very good example of German electronics.I found one and I am going to restore and use it. Could you share the documentation, schematic and manual with me?

First time I see Grundig instrument like this , may be it is very rere and hard to find in the market now ,can any one suggest me where to find? Thanks in advance.

I got mine -and the other Grundig instruments - on a well known internet platform. Prices are in general high and their quality is sometimes poor and they need repair as you´ve seen. Search in the net for the instruments; e.g. "Grundig XYZ". Don´t pay too much!
