@juandavidmondragon7573 I know Marin tilts a lot but the only reason he didn't drop performance after losing MSI is cuz Bengi and Wolf are solid voices and they have a mutual respect to make Marin calm and let him play at his best. That is what's been missing throughout Marin after SKT, I feel like no one was able to shot call him as well as Wolf and Bengi did. Marin definitely deserves that MVP but SKT being dominant in 2015 Worlds was a whole ass team effort

@@NightLife360 I think they drafted a tank bot to heavily punish the lulu so he was put on karma duty because ardent was super op. @@NightLife360 Problem was Ruler and CoreJJ were just miles better than Bang and Wolf, who had been struggling all tournament, and that gulf was being exasperated by the ardent meta. Man, Easyhoon is often cast in Faker's shadow because of 2015 but like Pastry said, he really was good player. I didn't realized he had a 78% winrate. It's a shame he didn't stick around in the LCK after Worlds 2015. I really think he could've had a better career if he did
@khaosff6514Күн бұрын
I believe that is a bad idea have 2 excellent players alternating in the team. One will blur the existence of the other, and this is why Easyhoon was seen like a shadow of Faker. If it was in another team, it will shine for yourself. There's no need of revenge, because Easy accepted the position it was received.

I argue a lot of why Ryze was his champ is that he loves to take the bold risks. He will move in when others retreat, and he will dare his enemies to prove that they can match his hands. Ryze relies on being in the right place so that he can simply walk up and be better, and that is the heart of Faker. "Prove it"

Not the heart of this video, but 2015 MSI Semis SKT vs FNC is the one series I ever went in person because it was in my home state and I somehow managed to convince my mom to take me. She and my sister tagged along and I remember them both having no idea how League worked in the slightest but still rooting for the teams and being invested by the end of the series. Also, since I was a diehard NA fan I cheered for SKT solely because I didn't want EU to win and from then on cheering for SKT sorta became second nature!

I dont think Faker played Ryze because of ezhoon, I think Faker is the only pro that year that discovered that Ryze is still strong despite the nerfs if he mastered him and he did. That's why he was able to play it and others didn't ban or take it because they all thought Ryze is already weak due to the previous patches. This is why Faker prime is so legendary because he don't just follow what's meta, he makes the Meta like when everyone played Zed, he pull's off Riven

ryze was extremely contested after this worlds, so while faker was definitely the best, the champion was definitely underrated and people overreacted to the nerfs and probably didn't try it in mid, which is a much safer lane than top (where he was normally played for most of the year)

I'm genuinely confused because the video never addressed the title. Where is the "greatest performance" we've "never heard of"? The video's great and I loved it so I'm still leaving a like and I'll watch all future content but having this much of a misleading title is so confusing.
@vez38342 күн бұрын
I think their idea was that Faker established himself as a complete player that year. He competed against a great specialist for his own spot on the team. Maybe the title is geared towards people who weren't watching back then, or to people who simply look at that worlds as a stomp. There was a reason why it was a stomp.
@SoloKatOnly2 күн бұрын
I think it was also the part where he said that Faker didn't just dominate his lane, he was straight up untouchable on a champion that got nerfed repeatedly and that he was basically the only one that was using him and the "we've never heard of" part I think was that why is Faker the only one using this champion and why is nobody banning it more when everytime Faker uses it, he stomps them.
