Sharing the flow trees is s must, but not the palian ore. That stuff respawns quick enough. Plus if you have limited playing time, you waste most of it waiting around for people to show up.

Right. When I find palium, I always look around to see if anybody is nearby, but I'm usually not going to shout out on chat, because I have better things to do than wait for people from far away to come running.

@@WolfgerSilberbaer , this is exactly what I will do. I will even hop around and emote to get another player's attention, but if you call it in server, someone a five minute run away (who statistically speaking is going to unknowingly run past a few nodes on their way) is going to yell OMW, then not be able to find you and then not even have the right pick axe once they finally get there... NO! I only call out in server if I can spare real world minutes. Take a coffee and bathroom break while I wait for them. For me, this also goes for flow trees that I CAN cut on my own. I've spent so much time waiting for people to show up to help cut that never do. The flip side is that unless I am within a 30 second run, I won't show up for a call out either. The wood and ore aren't valuable so far as gold goes and you DO hit a point where having it on hand is useful, but not nearly as important as other resources.

Not the small Palian ore nodes though. Travelling half the map for a single ore isn't worth it. But for the medium and large nodes, as well as Flow trees and rare animals, be specific as you can on where they are on the map. Rare bugs are trickier as if you're too close, cicadas for example, can run away and despawn before you can tell anyone. Do: check the O tab and see if anyone has an item listed that you have in abundance or can spare. Example: someone needed a Juniper seed for Ashura's weekly want and I had a spare.

Yes it does what cooking grilled fish does it takes both values of the fish as the sell price, but if you get the star version of the meal, it increases the sale price. It has been proven, and there is data.

On top of telling everyone generally where it is, you can shoot fireworks at the tree. The firework will hit the tree, then go straight up, giving everyone a quick marker to zero in on.

You need to let them know you’re coming. The easiest way is to type omw into chat for on my way, I find most people keep track of who says they’re coming and will wait until everyone who announced arrives.

Not sure why you say to not grill fish... 1, you get free cooking skill. 2, the product produced sells for either the same price as the materials used or 150% the price if star quality. You don't lose anything by cooking it so there is no reason not to. Yes Fisherman's Brew has a higher profit margin, but that's still no reason to not cook the fish, that's just an alternate recipe with higher profit margin. Fisherman's Brew isn't actually a great way to make money though, it more a way to get rid of excess resources you may have. If you have a lot of excess materials, you can cook it up and sell it. However that same rule applies to the fish. There is no reason to not grill the fish before selling it if your intent was to sell it anyway.

The reason to not cook fish in my opinion is that it’s super tedious and wastes time. I’d rather just pop my fish in a chest and continue running around. Not everyone plays that game the same and that’s okay

@j3nnacat Make 5 stations for grilling the fish, just waste around 6 minutes for grilling the fish. 50/50 your fish will be star quality if you're lucky. You get more golds, xp to cooking. Nothing in this game isn't waste of anything. Yea you can sell it raw and get golds. But why not to lvl more things in one go. +Grilled Fish actually make more golds then raw, and if they're star quality it's even more. Just saying. But i understand that ppl want have anything right now and not waste their time. :D Don't get me wrong, i'm not mad or anything, or i'm not saying how you play the game. Just saying it's deffinitely worth it to grill your fish. Yea it's kinda Time consuming, but you know. work smart not hard. You gaining 2 things in progress. Fishing Lvl & Cooking Lvl. ^^ Either way have fun in Palia. 😁

@@j3nnacat doing anything raises skills, grilling fish increases cooking skill. So it isn't a waste of time, it levels cooking, a separate profession.

I always cook the lower level fish because it doesn't decrease the value of just selling them, and star quality does make you more money. But also do it because it increases cooking skill. Saying don't cook fish, instead cook fisherman's brew is bad advice since they have completely different ingredients to make. yes, always cook fisherman's brew when you can its good profit for sure, but its not an option if you only have fish in your inventory. Plus you have to get your fishing skill up to even buy the recipe for the brew.
