For the coconut video, skylar coconut cove is my favorite but a subtle coconut one is Vacation inc’s signature scent. It’s like a nostalgic sunscreen scent but mixed with coconut, pineapple, banana, pool toy, and spandex. It’s amazing

I loveee brandy apple it smells incredible on my skin. But it’s definitely a more autumn fragrance for me. I *just* bought the sol de Janeiro new body mists. They aren’t even on the website but I got them in store. They are called tropical nights which is mandarin oil, vanilla, tonka bean, patchouli and Tabacco. Then there is tan lines which is leite de coco, warm sand, tuberose, ylang ylang, vanilla and amber. There is a third one I didn’t like as much called sea and sol. A little too fresh for me. I got a rollerball of tom ford white suede, it’s a very unique scent. It’s suede, saffron and musk. I think you’d like it. To me it’s very saffron heavy but settles onto the skin as a smooth leather musk. I love your fragrance content! Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

Love Dont Be Shy to me smells like grape big league chew and I am OBSESSED (grape/purple is my favorite flavor). I don't even note the white florals but I also loooove white florals in general so I focus in on the marshmallow. I haven't tried the Apple Brandy one but I WANT Straight to Heaven, you'd love it because its super woody.

Love Scent Sundays! You got me started on my own fragrance journey. For cheaper houses try Guess (love Guess Seductive Noir, similar to Mon Guerlain). Banana Republic has some great scents too. I like their Dark Cherry and Amber, it has BR540 vibes with a cherry note!

Loving scent Sunday❤️Your experience with Love Don’t Be Shy is exactly what I went through with Angels Share! The first couple times I wore it I told my husband I was so confused why people would spend so much on a full size and now I find it absolutely intoxicating and will definitely get a full size when my travel size is gone! Noses are funny. Also I bought the Ellis Brooklyn sampler after watching your review. So far Apres is my fav by far! It reminds me of Replica’s Jazz Club and also lasted longer ☺️thanks for the recommendations!

Tihota is my all time fav vanilla!! It’s so perfect - literally like smelling the best most high-quality vanilla extract ever! Another great Vanilla is Absolute Aphrodisiac by Initio. It has a slight animalic quality to it which gives it an interesting twist - great for cold weather.

Lauren, I’ve been watching you for years (I think I found you through your very first nail polish declutter??!) and I gotta tell you, I LOVE Scent Sundays. The way you describe scents is so fun to watch. My brother and I have been having our own version of them where we smell a bunch of different samples and then rate them-total nerds, but we’ve been having a great time! We just tested a bunch of samples from Imaginary Authors last night and they were so INTERESTING. Every scent took me somewhere and even though I wouldn’t wear some of them, there were a few that really were 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼 and I can’t wait to try them on my skin Our faves from the bunch were Memoirs of a Trespasser & Cape Heartache. I also really adored Whiff of a Wafflecone for when I’m feeling like I want to smell like dessert 😜 Have you ever tried any from Imaginary Authors? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

They have mists and oils, know you don't love the rollerballs but the coconut one is pretty great tbh. (Plus they're affordable too, obvs.)

I really love the perfumes from Margot Elena (TokyoMilk and Library of Flowers are the lines I have perfumes from)! They are not Expensive, though they aren’t truly cheap either. My favorite is Bulletproof, which is a really lovely warm and cozy scent with some smokiness. But I also really love Honeycomb, which has a wonderful fig note!

For coconut, you should try Coconut from Tulip! Also, you could try Comptoir sud Pacifique for any coconut, vanilla, or tropical scents 🥥🌺🍋

I’m ADDICTED to Kilian’s Love Don’t Be Shy. It’s so beautiful. It’s not my typical taste either, my everyday fragrance is KayAli Vanilla 28 with Replica’s By the Fireplace or Jazz Club. This has a very strong orange opening but the dry down turns into that sweet marshmallow. The more you smell it the more you love it. It’s so expensive though. I bought the travel size because I couldn’t afford to buy the full size at this time and it didn’t last me long. Lol. I heard great things about Dossier and how their dupe smells almost identical. I was skeptical at first because I’m a bit of a perfume snob and I don’t like dupes but I watched enough reviews to make me want to try it. I’m so glad I did! It’s almost identical. It’s opening it’s as strong, you get less of that orange but the dry down is spot on. I actually found that it lasts longer than the Kilian’s. If you want to make your bottle of Kilian’s last I would definitely recommend picking up Floral Marshmallow by Dossier.

It has been a lot of fun - I am still trying to decide if I want to buy a full size , I am probably running low on all of the milk, book, and gold scents. I feel a love/confusion on the Mill scent because I keep wanting to smell its sweetness but to my nose there is something also oddly tart in it. I think it is unique

Tried the milk collection from commodity based on how someone described it on Tiktok and I just wasn’t into it, not sure if it makes sense but it felt too mainstream, it wasn’t unusual enough, it was sweet but in a really typical way

I’m so happy you got the Mix Bar Fragrances…they are so so good!! For being inexpensive from Target…doesn’t smell inexpensive, the bottles are nice and they have pretty good lasting power!! I also love many Pacifica fragrances and the one you got…love!! I wish I could get the real Killian Love Don’t be Shy, but Dossier’s version is pretty damn spot on and I got that one. You might love Lune Feline by Atelier des Ors. You can get sample on lucky scent. Its the perfect smokey vanilla, and it has the most gorgeous bottle with gold flakes in the perfume. Its the equivalent of a badass all black outfit.

Sephora sells the mini size of Angel’s Share and it is delicious!! I still find myself reaching for By the Fireside, but I do enjoy it. I like similar scents to you, aside from the florals (still not ready to go there) and honey notes (I like them). It doesn’t last as long on my skin as say, Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, but it’ one that I enjoy.

I also love Neon Moon by Pacifica! At first spray I thought it was terrible and sour, but the moment it dried down on my skin it became an absolutely stunning cardamom sandalwood. I definitely recommend testing the Pacifica moon mood scents on skin rather than just paper because they really transform!

Does De Los Santos smell a lot like Commodity Book to you? That's what it smelled like to me and both of them are scrubbers for me. I think my nose reads these scents as much more deep, heavy herbal than an airy, cool, aromatic scent.

A skin scent means it sits close to the body. It doesn’t have much projection, you can smell it but others probably won’t.
