Well I’m sitting here watching our little Canadian girl win gold at the Olympics and get notified WW posted a video. Well, that’s it for Olympics for now. Had to watch you ladies. You all deserve the gold. I’m sure it’s such a mental game and all three of you have the ability to get past those daunting thoughts. Washington sure looks beautiful and that little town looks awesome. Doesn’t the kindness of others make your heart swell! Stay safe and healthy. 🤓🇨🇦

Most of us would have got tired well before 900 miles. Keep going!!! "Paso a paso" as people say here where I live......I count in hundreds. Just get to the next 100 and then carry on....It helps that you have each other.❤️

🥰 One thing I found self-starters have in common, was described to me by my Mother. Not going into a long history but she said “ You do what you Have To do, when you reach that point the “Have To” just kicks in and you just do it”. Well done ladies and I enjoy watching your adventures, wherever they take you!

You are in my old stomping grounds where I grew up. We would spend an entire day in the roofs behind our house snd never need to come home for lunch for all the berries. Lots of water snd lots of ferns snd moss. It’s not called the evergreen state for nothing. Watch out for the unexpected cold overnight as you get in higher elevation. Lots of condensation on the tents snd sleeping bags but it’s stunning country.

You have some great scenery coming up. Once beyond Trout Lake (and some huckleberry pancakes at the Station Cafe (or milkshake)), there will be some amazing vistas until you get to Canada. And the water!! That can be your inspiration on a tough day, though I think you got yourselves covered.

900 miles, great! No wonder that you're all beat, but you keep going. Your advice for those times is right on the money. Life is ups and downs, keep going. I also do a lot of self talk. Lynn's hint was good, put yourself somewhere else in your mind. Beautiful scenery, can't believe your phone takes such wonderful pics and video. Glad you got a lot of ice cream on this segment. Take care, be safe.

Yep those berries really slowed us down as well :) But you cannot NOT eat them, they are so good. And nobody feels perky after the distance you did doing 20+ miles a day in WA!!! And trust me more WA beauty will follow but also tougher days :) Good going girls. Love your videos

So interesting to hear your comments on the self-talk when the going gets challenging. The glimpse of Mount St. Helen's took me back to graduate school when she blew! I was over 500 miles away in Missoula, MT.

My grandchildren ( 8 and 10) and I are are watching and enjoying your videos. We have some friends on the trail but they started at the bottom in California. Last week they were near Chester and trying to figure a way around the Dixie Fire Closure. The kids want to know what type of camera you are using to film your journey and videos. They asked if it was a GoPro camera, which they are familiar with. Thanks for including us on your journey! Thanks, Berni from Ohio
