Theo was a very overweight Chihuahua when he met Addison and Brendan, but luckily for him, they decided to get him the help he needed. He was tired all the time and struggled to breathe, so they encouraged a healthier diet and lots of walks. And it paid off, he has become a happier and healthier dog who lives a wonderful life and is fast approaching his goal weight

Thank you for adopting darling Theo & taking on such a challenging health issue. He looks great & I'm sure he will eventually lose all this extra weight. I can't help but feel sorry for the person who originally had him. They obviously had issues of their own with food and/or were elderly and couldn't take care of him properly. We'll never know and I don't want to assume this person who had him before intentionally meant to him harm. I'm just glad he is with a wonderful family now who is taking excellent care of him & living his best life.

A lot of pet parents overfeed their animals, because food seems to make them happy (temporarily). Unfortunately, it can reduce their QUALITY of life and lifespan. Frequent and active interaction, like walks and playing, usually improve both, for the pet and parent alike. Just ask Theo!

Bless you guys. He is so cute. I will never understand why people over feed their dogs and cats. I've had at least 200 or more cats over my lifetime . None of them were ever overweight.❤️❤️❤️

2:49...he's looking up at her husband with such love and admiration. That's beautiful. DO NOT feed your dog table scraps. My mom did that with her chihuauhua and I had a heck of a time getting him back to a healthy weight. It's not healthy for humans so, it's definitely not healthy for animals.
