14" Tire Upgrade

New boots for the mini! We rip of the stock 12 inchers and upgrade to a set of 14 x 5.5 Fast wheels wrapped with 175/65/r14's. It's a huge upgrade to the ride but does take a little more power to turn them. Overall, I'm supper pumped about the results. It's still awesome for ripping around on short runs. It's not like it was a highway truck anyways. I should mention that I already have a 2" lift on the truck.

No, I never did but I’ve been thinking about putting together a quick thing on how I did it. (The signal wire for the tach is hooked up to one of the injector signal wires.)

Scratch that, it’s one of the coil pack wires.

Is your truck injected? Just wondering where you hooked up the signal wire for the tachometer?

Yes, fuel injected. I hooked up to one of the fuel injector signal wires. I poked around with a multimeter until I found a 5volt power supply.

There are three wires for each injector. A ground, 12v supply, and 5v signal. I first tried the camshaft sensor but the signal was not very good from there

There there is already a tech signal in the instrument cluster. In the manual it is the engine speed sensor wire.

They are Fast Wheels. They are called Jet and I got them in gloss black. 14x5.5, +40 offset, 4x100mm, 60.1mm bore.
