How sweet of Emma to send you the napkins. Have you ever tried using a iron after your decoupage is dry? It really gets rid of wrinkles and a very well bonded surface. Have your iron on medium and use parchment paper in between your iron and your decoupage dry surface

These are all so gorgeous and the temptation is HUGE! I have to use all the rice paper, napkins and copious amounts of scrapbook paper. I have the wood pieces, mod podge, canvas collections used and unused, all waiting to be decoupaged, IOD moulds & transfers put on & Totally Dazzled blinged out! Your inspiration is fabulous! I showed my husband your old wood end and plank projects to prove it was possible. He now carefully puts bits aside before burning anything!! ❤

I just came here tonight after seeing a lovely decopage mason jar with fairy lights. I figured right away: Hey, I can do that! You see, I am 66 years young and remember when I was a girl in the 60's and 70s how we made necklaces and earrings out of recycled and found things...I lived near the ocean so would find shells and make necklaces out of these and also we took strips of rolled up National Geographics or fashion magaiznes with a toothpick and then put clear finger nail polish over this to make really beautiful beads! I still make these sometimes. It is amazing at how we can easily make beautiful things just by using what is around us! I LOVED your warm presentations and think it was awesome that Emma sent you those beautiful napkins! I too LOVE beautiful napkins and also have a bunch of beautiful tea cups that I display above my kitchen table along with and a triple tier tea treats caddy where I put both tasty homemade desserts as well as healthy fare like carrot sticks, apple and cheese slices, nuts and cucumber sandwiches. I also love the tradition of the Japanese tea ceremony that honors everyone including the tea planters, tenders and harvesters as well as the sun and rain and moon. As a child I got a special wooden apple that had a miniature tea set inside of it. It's occasionally still possible to buy one of these online. The truth is, every moment in life is special and every day is a special occasion worthy of celebration. To that end, every day, I eat all my food using silver utensils and the most beautiful family and thrift store artistic plates. Celebrate each and every day, it is a miracle! You have a lovely, warm and beautiful way about how you teach, so very friendly and your little 'mini' sessions are very professionally done! Impressive!
