I have an old trench coat form horne brothers, it was to big for me when I was a kid, but now it fits me very good, all this trenches all nice and beautiful but I haven't seen a style with an old trench, it suits me quite well in shoulders and arms length, but it's long, it goes past my knee. Because it's old one, it was made to be worn with layers beneath it, my Gf says it looks good on me, but idk should I ware it with something underneath or not? Any suggestions?

I understand! The trench coat should be above the knees. That's how they were built, and they never go out of style. they are very versatile and you can combine them with many garments. For example, in summer you can wear it rolled up your sleeves, or not. and you can take a T-shirt underneath, with jeans and some boots or sneakers and a bag as an accessory. You can also take a shirt with cloth pants and shoes underneath. OR towards autumn with a denim jacket or sweater on the neck, in a suit, or a formal outfit, blue jeans, neck sweater with suit jacket and trench coat on top or a relaxed outfit with cargo pants, hoodie with boots or sneakers. you can wear it with almost anything if you also have a beautifully combined color line. And last but not least, I think the most important thing is the attitude you have when you wear it. For example, if you try the combos and you think that you do not feel comfortable from an emotional point of view, this is transmitted in the way you walk, in the confidence you have. And sometimes there are outfits that are not bright but the wearer makes their mark. I want my answer to be useful to you.

always black!? Trench coats are mainly navy blue and beige. Man, just check Burberry's classic trench coats ;)
