Awesome dude. Glad your kid is a hard worker. I’ve been doing lawns for a minute now and never had a riding mower. I’m going to buy one soon. Thanks for the motivation

Thank you! We try to instill hard work and Grit into our sons! Good job on getting after it! Riding mowers are such a game changer so definitely recommend you getting one. Appreciate the kind words and support! Keep us updated on how the lawns go and when you get that new mower!

Haha that’s epic. I started mowing peoples yards with a 1973 lawn boy. All push mower no self propelled. 20 pound mower but that thing was so light I could push it with my finger. Strange how great those lawnboys lasted if you mixed the two cycle gas right

That’s awesome! Some of those old mowers would last a lifetime when taken care of properly! Thanks for sharing your story!

Get some safety glasses to protect your eyes, especially for weed eating you don’t want anything to pop in your eye. Safety first.

Yes, we usually do wear eye protection...you are right - safety first! Thanks!

good stuff but i would recommend a more commercial weedeater like a echo or stihl
@MurphSquad3 ай бұрын
Yeah that weedeater didn't last long. We have since upgraded to a stihl. Good call on that! Thank you!

Odd to get a Ron beer instead of that thing
@MurphSquad3 жыл бұрын
Is a ron beer the same as a john deere? haha. This mower has worked out great for what he has needed it for. And especially the price we paid for it.

@@MurphSquad love the video! Was searching on zero turn mowers to get mind reps with the mechanics and came across this video. Got a new sub, love the hard work you preach for your boys. I sit at a desk all day but love being outside and getting hard labor in, "white collar with a blue collar mindset". BTW the "Ron beer" comment is in reference to this gem lol, enjoy! kzbin.info/www/bejne/il6TqIegmtGXm9E

Dont go for homelight. there just a pice of crap. i bought a brand new curved shaft brand new and it broke down the next day. a paper gasket blew apart which means a new carb
@MurphSquad3 жыл бұрын
That's what he got for this first round of trimmers. So far it's done fine but time will tell. Thanks for the advice!

@@MurphSquad the straight shaft ones are great in my opinion, the carb on my ryobi ss30 has been fucky so I got the homelite , had it for 2 summers now turn on with a couple of pulls and runs strong.
@MurphSquad3 жыл бұрын
@@anelavdic5694 Yeah I prefer the straight shaft as well. So far we have had zero problems with the new trimmer! It's done good! Thanks for the info! Hope it does good for you this summer as well!

@@MurphSquad I would recommend investing in a nice echo that will last you a great 3-5 years. Just get the red armor oil and you are good. I would go with either srm-225 or srm-2620 or 2620T (The T is for extra torque from a gear ratio at the head it’s the same engine)

@@crouchlawncare9158 good info! Will keep that in mind on the next purchase! Appreciate the tip! Thanks!
