So the bracket piece you removed is not needed? I thought it holds one of the 3 bolts in?

So I ran into a problem. My stock alternator harness only has 1 wire going to the harness itself and the aftermarket harness I ordered has 4 wires to it. Did I order the wrong harness?
@Projekt1 Жыл бұрын
@@fallenone6 if it plugs to your new alternator, you ordered the right one, u will just use 1 of them , the (L)

what slot does the old wire hook up to the new harness. is it the same pin spot on both? i didnt get one from a junkyard and the new harness has 4 wires coming off it and i know i only need to hook it to one of them.
@Projekt12 жыл бұрын
Connect the pin with an “L” label
@SilverBulletStreaming2 жыл бұрын
@@Projekt1 I don't quite understand. If plugged in the old harness has 4 pins amd the wire in is pin number 2 if you count down from the top. It the only wire. The aftermarket plug i got to match the new alt has 4 wires coming out the back since its universal one. Which pin do I solder the old wire to the new harness. Pin Spot 1 2 3 or 4 if you count down from the top. Yours was direct fit with only 1 wire on both sides you just had to connect them. I got to figure out which pin to connect to.
@SilverBulletStreaming2 жыл бұрын
Do you mean connect the wire to the pin with the "L" shape on the end. The other 3 pins and straight.
