Great video's, the trouble with them is is that I watch these in the evening and it makes me want to go work on my '51' TED20 right there and then! It is 90% complete.

I agree with you Gordon. I think it would be a wise move to just get a new starter. The old one seems salvageable, but you could run into unexpected problems while rebuilding it. Looking forward to a future video about the governor. I just finished my TE20 and my governor needs adjusted. Perhaps I can learn something when you are working with yours. Regards. Steve from Ohio

Noticed bronze fitting in head in replace of plug for water which I assume was corode like mine....what did you end up using?
