Was your deck hight a bit thin on the block . The head studs hold but the deck lifts . Nice thick deck is always good . Stock blocks good though maybe the blocks a bit hard and didnt flex .

Only took off about .005” I think when they machined it. Wonder if the time I was running it hard with the loose motor Mount helped it flex enough to affect it
