@@liberationyachts007 The cool thing was I was given the chance to be a craftsman, the owners demanded it. I set up and ran the veneer dept. as well as made cabinets and also spent 7 years in the interior design office. The boss gave opportunities to staff who showed interest to wear different hats, lucky me.

@@pinopino1086 not quite solo but the winches are controlled from the cockpit or wheelhouse.

@@pinopino1086 It's a 144' yacht, for heaven's sake. It would take a minimum of 3 to 4 people to sail it effectively over a long distance, excluding the staff on board to cater to the passengers.

@@pinopino1086 Even though technology has made life easier, rule of thumb used to be that the max anyone would try and sail a yacht single-handed was around 50' - and that would be pushing it. Not that long ago 30' - 35' would have been considered the max for anyone other than a solo racer.
