Notes: 1) This was not a random crime. Nothing about the circumstances strike me as spontaneous on the part of the assailant . Jullie was found in a storeroom at the Business Park. Every indication seems to be that whomever killed Julie knew her schedule that day and knew when she was going to be moving items. 2) Donald Piper isn't the killler here. Piper chose a location he knew from his job- namely hotels. He bound his victims, stripped them partially and strangled them as well as stabbed them. These signatures don't add up in Julie's case. 3) This unsub strikes as me as a professional killer. No footprint, no fingerprint . no fibers. No evidence left behind. This has to be an individual who knew their way in or out. and how to leave quietly and unobtrusively 4) Julie apparently was an effective marketer and saleswoman with this firm. I get the feeling her death had something to do with the business .Someone clearly wanted her eliminated and succeeded

I am leaning towards this person who "found her body" because he got curious about the door being ajar. Unless you knew for a fact who was inside there and knew her enough to know she would be alone, it doesn't seem like a stranger would have taken the chance (piper) I am thinking this is someone who knew Julie and the person who found her could have known her enough not to set off alarms if he got close. Lastly, it seems very odd anyone else would give a damn about the door being ajar in the first place unless they were connected to that building somehow and knew that door was supposed to be closed and locked. How would a stranger just in the area know that door shouldn't be open ,and more, why be alarmed if it was ajar?

For example teenage girls probably commit shoplifting at a higher rate than 80 year old women, etc. It's all so varied. Tapestry

Seems the police were being intentionally obtuse when the investigation began. It's suspicious that individuals with the knowledge about how to cover up a crime scene were very near the murder scene. It is interesting to me that,, from the very beginning, they were saying how difficult the crime would be to solve before they had even gone very far into the investigation. But what would be the motive?

Yes I think it could very well be LE! Would also make sense why it wasn’t solved!!

I wouldn't take a polygraph, whether guilty OR innocent. They are never "good" for people. They're not admissible for a reason. But if you're nervous and even if you're innocent, if it comes as inconclusive or even shows deception on a single question, police will start to focus solely on you, rather than continuing to investigate. It might look bad to some, but refusing a polygraph is the smartest thing to do if cops are questioning you regarding any crime.

Sad, a woman, much needed at home by her children, was working for some man, who didn’t even know what she was doing that day was then murdered. Horrible for her children and husband.

She choosed to work , so back off. Not all women want to only stay at home with the kids all day.

@@rockstarofredondo if she wanted to work that doesen't mean the children weren't the first priority to her. Maybe she was doing it because the money her husband maid weren't enough to rise those children. Also evreyone is allowed to choose what their priorities are in life and how they want to life their life. She didn't do anything wrong, her being at work for a few hours a day doesen't mean the children where traumatized for life. In some families both need to work to make ends meet or she simply didn't wanted to be a stay at home mom all day and whanted to do more with her life. And I am sorry she can't be blamed for that. You can't dictate what others should or should not do.

Maybe that's why she submitted the new lease to another building , to get away from/break it off with him. Why was there an ''acquaintance'' that just happen to be there to discover her?

They were all tied up, and nude from the waist down, but not sexually assaulted!? I mean, I'm glad their suffering wasn't compounded with a different kind of attack, but that is also very strange.

Is it so hard to believe that one of the cops in the building could have done it for some reason? The information was repeated multiple times that the killer knew how to cover their tracks, and that police investigation units worked in the same building as her.

Way death occurred could depend on impliments available and whether you panicked or were disturbed, you might be killed only because you were a witness to someone about to commit a crime or you recognised someone masked, Julie might be intended to be a robbery or sexual assault victim but the killer was disturbed.

You keep saying "him", maybe the killer was a "she".

Someone brought up life insurance. I wonder how much life insurance was on her? Obviously I don’t know who committed this horrific crime, but I am suspicious of the person who found her, but wonder how much was checked on the husband. He definitely knew she’d be there. I know physically he was elsewhere. I know so many times it’s the spouse, but not always so it’s so hard to say. You just wonder how thoroughly the two I mentioned here were checked out. And you hate to accuse or point fingers but you just wonder. God rest her soul and bring her killer to justice.

It could have been a hit job with the person dressing as a police officer, and Julie would have not thought anything of it because they had an office in the building!! Usually follow the money, insurance, was husband having an affair?!!!
