I have always been very skeptical of "Legacy" schools. They usually are just a relic of the past, ghost of former self, that has kept a "good" name, but hides soo many shadows & skeletons that ought hv been buried. Here in the US, once in a while you will hear of "fraternity" getting hit with rape & murder allegations. And it affects those old legacy high flying schools. I remember Pst Julian Kyula on CTA talk of a horrible experience at a school he eventually ran away from. Of how they were stripped naked. Also Boniface Mwangi still on CTA recount of boys being molested at night, at well established "legacy" institution Let us choose better for our kids and not be drawn by the allure.

I was admitted on Monday na Thursday ni midterm but nikienda home niliwa nieibiwa everything ningeita school uniform. High School ilikuwa tough. Box inapigwa butterfly😂...Hata mimi kuadjust days zangu za kwanza ilikuwa insane😂. Kuna day karibu nimiss food juu foleni ya kunyoa ilikuwa ndefu na boarding master alikuwa strict kuhusu mambo ya kunyoa. Hata sisi (Onjiko High School) prefects walikuwa na power ya kukudiscipline but ilibadilishwa time nilikuwa Form 2.

It's amazing how 98 percent of the time, most of us have nothing positive to say about our teachers. I dunno if they had frustrations they wanted to get out of their systems coz bruh, the beatings were too much. How life changing is anything involved with corporal punishment? Because if the outcome was positive and visible then we'd have nice things to say but no we don't. Our teachers were monsters. Heck they still are.....

I’m so amused at how Richie’s shocked by the Patch experience. I can’t grasp him not grasping it. Patch was 💯 . I’ll never forget my years there, the BEATINGS, the energy & the exposure to every type of background/lifestyle imaginable. He’s not lied about one thing from the Patch experience. Those years made me though I HATED them while i was there. To The Uttermost! 🫡
