Understood well. 1. 15 Bends. 2. 10 cm. 3. Insulated Suction pipe, Insulated Liquid pipe, Drain pipe and Electric cable. 4. Case 1 - When outdoor unit is below indoor unit, Inverted U loop is provided in the suction line. This is done to avoid the liquid refrigerant flowing back to the compressor and damage the compressor when it starts. Case 2 - When outdoor unit is above indoor unit, U trap is provided in the suction line. This is done to return the oil back to the compressor and save the compressor from failing (wear and tear) due to lack of lubrication oil. 5. To maintain the efficiency of ac unit by keeping proper flow of the refrigerant in the unit, the distance between indoor unit and outdoor unit is kept minimum. If the distance increases then there will be pressure drop and load on the compressor will increase. This will reduce the efficiency of the unit.

Good explanation.. I have one query girish sir, if we installed except of split unit we have vrv outdoor at terrace in any bldg and all indoor connected down side in bldg room so is it possible to make u bend in vrv outdoor side to avoid oil issue in indoor.

Vrv has different system for oil recovery and to liquid flood back. I will go through it and come up with new video. But spli ac dose't eqqupied with such systems hence it requires bends
