I never saw a turtle mold or turtle jewelry that appealed to me but this one is the exception. Well done, Julie! The glitter in the cabochons wasn't as dramatically colorful as I anticipated but they are all quite lovely. That definitely is not on you! That is 100% how the glitter reacted to the resin as the pieces cured. Resin can be fickle and awesome - all in the same piece. Of course when art becomes 100% predictable I imagine many artists would quickly become bored. Thank you for sharing your research of various products and the honest results.

I’d love to have a go at bezelling one of your pendants using seed beads and crystals. I think it would look really beautiful instead of just a stick on bail. I love your videos and I’d like to see these pendants done but left with just clear resin as the black reacts with the iridescent flakes and makes them appear blue xx

I love the Ice Opal’s. I don’t have the white or the pink, they’re really pretty too. The Fire Opal is my favorite but, they’re all beautiful! I’d love to see what the lighter shades look like with an Interference Blue background.

Hi Julie great molds 😍, with the ignition dust you only need the tiniest bit and you would have been able to see through it, you can use it over paintings etc less is more with it ❤️ xx

If the volume of a mold is hard to guess at, you could put water in the mold, then pour it into a container on a scale to weigh in what you might need with a bit more accuracy. I love seeing all your extra pieces that you can make with the spare resin more than I would want this advice to be taken seriously, though. 😉

Oh, that turtle! It's so, so gorgeous! ❤ That shell is *AMAZING*, Julie, with the ignition dust and green/blue opal glitters behind it. WOW! I would LOVE to have that mold! I think I'm in love. 😊❤ All of the pendants are beautiful! My favorite of the pendants is the green and the two blues, but I also liked the black (fire) opal. Oooh, do they have a RED opal ice?!? Wouldn't that be something? A red opal is SO rare! ❤😊

All of them turned out great. I think my favorite though is the turtle it’s totally amazing. I really like the way the shell is so finely holographic but at the same time there are random chunky parts from where the glitter is trying to peek thru. Absolutely love it and would love to have the mold myself. Great job as Always!!!!❤

Hi Julie oh I forgot to let you know about the glitter maribou rainbow that's the brand Marabou rainbow the color. It is a gorgeous holographic glitter that yeah it's not opaque. Hope that helps

Julie, they are all Opal, but each one was called differently. The darker one you wanted to call just Opal was Fire Opal, which actually is a true kind of Opal. The blue was Aqua Opal and the darker blue was called Cobalt Opal. I loved that turtle, so cute 🥰! I agree the dust silver ignition don’t care for it with the flakes, one or he other! Hi Julie. I love what you’ve done here. The turtle in particular is just gorgeous. Love the pendants as well. Such a great video I buy my holographic glitter from Silly Solly’s They come in a plastic bottle with several different colours & it’s very fine so you could put some on your moulds with an eyeshadow sponge. They’re $5 a container. I will put on your FB site the Green hands that I did I mixed the green holographic glitter in with the resin & the line green colour together.
