Because the wires are cheap and not long enough, the more you extend it, the more it frays and stresses because it's cheap and long enough. So it'll break. Sadly CO asks you to return it and send you a ''replacement'' - the replacement is nothing new ... it's a repurposed pre-used sonic with the same crap wires. Better off replacing the wires or just don't use it at all.

@@Tweetlord I mean the paint mines still in the box but has worn paint I asked about it but wasn’t really offered much as it wasn’t a fault

@@elliottbarber There's not much they could really do about that tbh. Moving around, shipping and all that, it's a hit or miss. Which one was it? Retail or Chrome?

@@elliottbarberyeah both versions of mine have done that, fucking nightmare, also for some stupid reason CO have decided it was a good idea to use transparent plastic, so if you scratch the paint, it’s fucked, because the light bleeds through, I just hope the 15th doctors sonic will be built better, which I suppose it will as it will be around a lot longer.

@@Ollie_1022. bro tell me about it I genuinely wouldn’t have minded the inconvenience of some crappy paint but the light bleeding though in closed mode pisses me off on another level

here is my opinion on getting which one: If we're getting it to play with it as a toy, I think you should get the plastic one If you want one for the looks, the medals, special edition one Yes, it's way harder to find, but it is way better, I've got both

I agree. For me, I'm a big collector, so both is usually what I go for.
