I was trying to figure this one out myself lol The only possible explanation I could come up with for hitting the brown after a blue was maybe the blue was a 'free ball'.... Then I counted the balls on the table and realised this KZbinr is just colour blind 🤣

Because of the 1980s poor quality of the picture, the last red does look brown and I could understand anyone getting those mixed up under a different set of circumstances, but the brown is on its spot and whenever do you go from blue to brown in that order?

I'm surprised you didn't include the match against Steve Davis where Steve and won the frame with a century break leaving all the colours, and Alex although losing the frame, came back to the table and cleared the colours. The brown was an incredible shot with incredible power.

On one of those shots in the selected 15 why does Alex go from blue to brown ?? Presumably potted last red for blue to be on yellow as the first colour of the last remaining colours…So why he going for brown ???

He wasn't, this KZbinr is just clueless, it was the red and not the brown. Ok i get that the tvs weren't that clear back in the day,but come on. Anyone that knows anything about snooker knows that after the blue you need to pot a red,unless the blue is a free ball or you're clearing the colours up,so you'd play the pink after the blue.
