15 arrested in Tororo as Japadhola protest Emorimor Osuban visit

Over 15 people have been arrested and several cars have been impounded after the police averted a potential clash between the Japadhola and Iteso in Tororo municipality.
The Japadhola were intent on preventing the Iteso from hosting their cultural leader Emorimori Osuban at an event planned for Saturday in Tororo town.
The mob had vowed not to allow the Teso cultural leader to be hosted at the King George Stadium, which the Japadhola say is special to them because that is where their cultural leader, the Tieng Adhola, was installed.
