I had a friend (couple) that bought a house that two sisters had lived in for 50 years. The house had sat vacant for 8-10 years. All the relatives lived out of state and didn't want anything to do with it so sold it to them under one condition. The family sold it where is as is and said they would not clean up the house at all. This included the 10 year old milk in the refrigerator. The newly married couple bought the house and realized it contained 3 floors and attic and basement full of antiques. They sold less than 1/4 of the stuff and paid off their mortgage. One of the most valuable pieces was a toy, in the original crate with the price tag still on it, from the 1800s.

I once found a half buried silver tea pot in the middle of the woods behind one of my neighbors house!! It looked like the convex shape of a sea shell when it caught my eye. When I went to pick it up with a stick the stick went through the handle and i pulled it out. After scrubbing off all the dirt and grime it turned out to be in an ok condition. It was dated 1934 on the bottom!! And I still have it :)

I lived in a hundred year old house and found jewellery made of gold and silver sold them and they were worth over $3000, and a few bundles of $100s, $50s, and $20s along with loose change from the 1950s. The find was around $5000 probably previous owner died, or left it there and forgot about it. It was tucked in a corner under loose cellulose insulation; I only checked because no one had been up there since we bought the house and I saw what looked like a hump from a box in the corner under the cellulose and I made the discovery! If you live in an old house with a big attic, especially those that requires hatch access, go up, you might find some valuables!

In 1970 my brother and I found a mason jar full of different caliber bullets hidden in the basement of the house my father had just bought for our family. We kept quiet about it, then put them all into a steel bucket, doused them in lighter fluid, lit it, and took cover. We got into a shitload of trouble when dad got home from work. Ours and the neighbor's garages were full of bullet holes.

When you buy a house you buy it 'as is'... if the previous owner left something behind that means they didn't want it... all that money would be MINE! And I wouldn't be telling anyone about it!

I once had to sell a car worth a lot more than what I got from the salvage yard for it. My mom said to get it out of my yard now or I will. So I drove it down to the salvage yard, yes it was even drive able. I sold it for what I had paid for the steering wheel $25. It was a 1966 Chevy ll Nova SS worth an estimated $28,000 at the time. This was in the late 70's.

Reina Virtucio if you have extra, I desperately need 15,000 dollars to pay my back taxes. I’m serious! I’m actually panicking. I’m 68 years old and have had my home for 36 years. I’m looking for a personal loan that I could pay off in two and a half years. I’m more than willing to pay interest and sign a promissory note. I know this sounds desperate. That’s because it is.. I would provide the tax bill and whoever helped me I would expect them , or rather ask them, to pay it direct. I wouldn’t want anyone thinking I was trying to scam them. I’m at my wits end or I wouldn’t be on line asking for money in such an odd way.. I now have good income but not enough to get this amt together in time. I would also provide that proof. If you could help, that would be beyond great. I have spent my whole life working to keep the elderly in their homes.. I was a in home, health provider for my last client for 22 years. The woman I cared for was so sweet. She left me an inheritance but by the time she died, there was barely anything left. Her doctors told me that I added about an additional 10 years to her life because of the good care and quality of life I gave her . I also have excellent references as a person, in general. I live in NY state, in the country and have many adopted pets. People drop them off and I see them to the end of their lives. Some are my own that I got on purpose. It breaks my heart to think I could let them down. I really love them and, yeah, I baby the heck out of them, all of them. I’m not starving but if I had no income, they would be fed before me. I have no idea who you are, I’m just making a general plea. I tried a go fund me fund but I’m not anyone with special needs except to pay my back taxes. If you could help me, please do or if you know anyone who could or would be willing to help me. Thanks for taking the time to read this..This is so important that I’m leaving you my phone number. It’s 518- 733-5443. My name is Nancy Raimer. Look me up on Face Book. Oh, I also knit hundreds of hats from donated yarn that I donate to homeless shelters and the homeless on the street. @SuperDPJR5 жыл бұрын
My guess is you have no clue of the religion or faith of that person. You're only trying to flex YOUR religion. You should be ashamed insinuating that people must be a "born again christian" to be decent person. "Though Shalt Not Judge" comes to mind
@DanKoning7775 жыл бұрын
Colorado: 1st; religion isn't a good thing. Its only ppl trying to earn their way to heaven which isn't possible [Eph 2:8-9, Rom 3:20]. 2nd; everything you said completely contradicts/contrary too, my comment. I'm not surprised though since you misused, misquoted, and misspelled all things pertaining to "Though Shalt Not Judge" which isn't even a verse, and is spelled "Thou." Clearly I said there ARE good "NON" Christian ppl who'd do this. Matthew 7:1-5; Luke 6:37 is not implying what you're saying. You're hermeneutic has failed you, and you're merely parroting the typical simplistic interpretations society provides as a convenient escape from truth. If you knew scripture, you'd know Matthew 7 as the close of the "Sermon on the Mount." All it did was expose the hypocrisy of the most religious leaders of His day; the Pharisees, who reduced the life of the Jews to a list of "do's and don'ts" as Jesus grew up. The Sermon on the Mount makes it clear that Jesus WAS NOT prohibiting judgment, but "promoting discernment" which is what PROPER judging is. Improper judging is judging a persons heart [motive/intent] which only the Lord can see. Correct judging ALWAYS involves "the observation of fruit" that should be evidenced, be it good or bad. Matthew 7:16a "You will know them by their fruits" - all of this DOES follow what Jesus referred to 2k years ago, but sadly, ppl today have been so steeped in love, love, love, that any mention of a critique triggers a response such as yours.
@SuperDPJR5 жыл бұрын
@@DanKoning777 Wasn't requesting a sermon from you. And thanks for the spellcheck althou it wasn't needed. And never said it was a verse. I wouldn't know,I don't waste my time reading fiction. Most of my experience with Christians is them thinking they're better and smarter than everyone else and you just confirmed it.
@DanKoning7775 жыл бұрын
Colorado: interesting, you wrongly accuse me i.e. "clearly I said there ARE good "NON" Christian ppl who'd do the exact same thing I credited this possible Christian for doing" and then you say: "Christians think they are better and smarter than everyone else"?...hmm. BTW, the only thing I confirmed is the cross of Christ is foolishness to those who are perishing. 1 Cor 1:18
@SuperDPJR5 жыл бұрын
@@DanKoning777 I said "in my experience" Christians think they are better and smarter. You claim to "know" albeit faith or belief something no man can know is fact or fiction. Mankind won't have proof of any afterlife until "all of us fools perish". There are many "Gods", told of by many cultures. And they all think theirs is the true God. I know one thing for sure, not everyone can be right.
