Its so funny because that's the exact book I want too! Ha! Shot here at my house, through the seasons incorporating the home and garden, family recipes, personal stories, gorgeous photos, the whole lot. But strangely, publishers don't "get that" and I even had a publisher last year try to convince me that the book should be shot in a studio, cooked by food stylists, without me there?! Huh? LOL! So Yes I would love to have a book, but only if I could do it "my way" otherwise I just stick to videos because they're more fun! HA!

After years of pining for a Le Creuset dutch oven, I finally got one as an anniversary gift in early November. I have baked 3 no kneed breads perfectly and 5 soups for far. It is THE best thing I have ever got for the kitchen. I got it in red because it seemed classic.

So much so that after I showed her your video, I will have to give my mom a demonstration. Speaking of recipe box, you know what needs to come back... The Bread Box. The one you keep on the counter or kitchen table. Maybe because my parents are old school, I grew up with a breadbox always on the kitchen table. We had an all wooden roll top door with enough shelf space on top. Granted majority of the bread we bought lasted longer than the good bakers bread but we still used it. Even if one doesn’t use it solely for bread it was still a nice cubby hole on the table to store table top items in.

I love mine :) I actually don't store bread it in, because I find it lasts longer in the fridge but it has turned out to be a wonderful place to store all my nuts and dried fruits! Ha!
