Sometimes I sit down to play and realize I'm too exhausted or I start to nod off while playing cozy games. In those instances, playing something like Fortnite wakes me up. :)

I have that big problem that i need a game where I can put thousands of hours into. I dont want pure story games or puzzle adventures, I need long term collecting, grinding and stuff to keep me entertained. :D hard to find

Phenomenal video! I’ve been going back and forth for a week about getting a Steam Deck, but think I put a lot of pressure on how to get games that would fully utilise it, not realising that not every game has to be full on action mode. Thank you so much for this video, I’ve added some of the games onto my Steam wishlist. Hopefully, I’ll feel more at ease on making an informed decision about purchasing the Deck.

Aw, thank you! The Steam Deck is 100% worth it if you like handheld games but want newer (and better) games than are offered for the Nintendo Switch. My 70-year-old mother plays Farm Together 2 on her Steam Deck, I have a handful of my less intense Steam games on my Deck, and my husband takes the Steam Deck to work and plays Farm Together 2 on his breaks. I was curious - with Everdream Valley, it looked like you were dealing with some consistent frame rate issues, so I was expecting you to bring it up. Curious if that's a typical experience while playing?

Thank you very much. 🥰 I guess I'm not much of an FPS connoisseur, and perhaps this is something that can be fixed by tweaking settings on the Steam Deck or within the game. It honestly didn't bother me too much, and I mostly played it on my PC.

i have 90% of your games, because i really like cozy games like farming and survival building simulation :) Please try: All Kairosoft games, Littlewood, Sun Haven, Bear and Breakfast, Kynseed, Roots Of Pacha, Fields of Mistria, Cornucopia, Immortal Life, and many good cozy games in steamdeck :D Right now my cozy game is Fallout 76, you can build and design your own house as you wish, collecting item to display in your house, adventure with your fam and friend, after go out advanture you can back to youre cozy house :D

Almost all of those are on my wishlist, I just never have had time to start playing them (because too many new games releasing, lol). Wait, Fallout 76 is a cozy game?? It looks like a combat RPG from the Steam screenshots, so I never wishlisted it.

The Sims holds a place near and dear to my heart since I played it way back when it first released, and I did buy the new Sims before it was free and also own about 5 of the DLC packs. They are indeed pricy but SO fun! 😊

House flipper is AWFUL on switch and im still salty I spent £30 on it and they refused to give any type of partial refund even though they admitted they dont care about the switch version :( I want to get it on steam but my grudge wont let me lol Is it a vinyl on your deck or do you have custom plating? It looks so cool

Too bad to hear that House Flipper is poorly optimized for Switch. :( Hopefully HS2 will be better! Thank you...that is a partial vinyl decal that covers just the front, and the case covers the rest...best case ever too. It's the Killswitch case/skin combo from dBrand. :)

Stardew Valley didn't click with me either. Nice list. I do see differences between female and male lists but I also see much overlap such as Dave Diver/ Flipper, Powerwasher, No mans Sky etc. Interesting perspective thank you.

I've been playing Powerwash Simulator on my Steam Deck recently. I wish there were more small maps and vehicles though... Cleaning huge areas and buildings feels more tedious than relaxing 😅

While Stray is usually quite linear, it does open up a bit with certain hub areas through the game. It's a gorgeous game, I definitely recommend finishing it!

Battling streaming with bad internet became extremely taxing after a year. Until fiber internet is brought down our road, we just don't have anything reliable available to us. But recorded vids I can absolutely do, so I am. :)
