You can change the Olight Ultra back to double click for turbo. Put it in lockout mode (hold from off until moonlight turns off again), then click 10 times and hold on the 10th click. It will blink twice if you did it right.

I am sure the ultra has it, but the Arkfeld Pro, when in laser mode, if you double click the power button, it will also turn on the flashlight. That is nice for trying to point out something in the dark, under a vechicle and etc.

i have been using my knipex to crimp wire terminals and butt connectors since oct2003 as a mechanic these pliers do it all, they are a direct upgrade to channel locks. my favorite size are the 7" and 10" i bought a 3pair set off a MAC tool truck but i seldom use the 12" pair only when my 10" pair dont open wide enough. the very inside of the pliers works really good for crimping wires so i call them my wire crimpers despite being pliers, i also use them for ripping out gaskets the kind that are pressed in around shafts or bearings, these and my parrot jaw pliers basically get 90% of all my alignment work done too, they rip out cotter pins and even double as a leverage style pry tool, they in themselves are a multitool even replacing my chisel and hammer for some jobs like ripping out more types of seals, i think everyone should have at least 1 size of cobra pliers

The Kizer Smolt is a great small fixed blade. I prefer 3V compared to the other options mentioned, but to each their own as those are great ones too (I work my knives hard).

U can fix turbo strobe mix up by locking it pressing button 10+ times then holding button. It will blink twice. Then double click will be turbo

The worksharp guided field sharpener is a great sharpener. I pair one with a Fallkniven CC4. I'm not too sure that I would use that compact folding sharpener, but I might give it a try.

Arkfeld ultra ui can be changed to match everything else in their lineup. Just lock the light, quickly press the button 10+ times, and hold on the last press until you see the light flash twice

That Olights interesting but I can’t recommend against the Streamlight wedge. Less features but they have the best emitters in the game. And it’s normally quite a bit cheaper.

You can change the Arkfeld to be 2 click Turbo, 3 click strobe with a 10H that is 10 clicks holding on the 10th.

~70g for a Gerber dime and the pliers work, but they are nothing substantial. ~120G powerpint mini is worth that weight with the plier feel and added bit holding. ~140G and 2-3x the price you get a better finished product in the Skeletool. I see the argument that the powerpint is basically in the upper weight class, but for $60+ of course you will get the best tools from leatherman.

Also, for what people must think of someone walking down the beach or through town with a sling bag as is, it's a pretty hard sell for me. I get function over form, but it's somewhat a step too far. I like the other selections they have with different materials though.

Knipex are the best pliers in the world. For EDC the pliers wrench is pointless when you can just get the channel locks. Pliers wrench is practically exclusively used to not mar the surface.

Someone probably already said this, but you can reprogram the Arkfeld so a double tap is turbo and triple tap is strobe. I prefer that myself. See manual or Google for instructions.
