I'm disappointed that there aren't any jobs for wizards and witches in the arts, given the number of portraits lining the walls of Hogwarts. I notice that Prof. Flitwick conducts the Hogwarts choir. I'm thinking Potions Master would be one of the best jobs, specifically if you had your own apothecary store. Selling medicinal potions to those that need it or working at St. Mungo's hospital making the healing potions would be a good job that would be very much in demand. So if you could brew perfect potions, or work on further improving or modifying existing ones to be better effective for healers to use, then it might be a useful trade that would be popular.

Funnily enough, I agree about #1. When I imagined myself what my story in the wizarding world would be (and I like to imagine things a lot), I ended up being a wand maker for part of my life. There's no way I wouldn't experiment with various cores, materials, shapes etc. if I were a wizard. Maybe I would end up creating something that doesn't even look like a wand anymore. If any object can be used to channel magic, who's to say the wand we know is the most optimal one. If the magic Rowling described was real, I have a serious suspicion the wizarding community has not pushed this area to its limits, yet. Hell, supposedly the most powerful wand in existence was created hundreds of years ago- the sheer fact there haven't been any progress in that area for such a long time suggests the wand making process has stagnated and could use some creative brains.

I never quite understood why wizards need an economic system with actual money. I mean by lore-logic and based on what the average wizard/witch is capable of, it makes almost no sense. It seems like it is more a consequence of muggle influence on the magic world. Also, it would be infinitely interesting to see religion being explored in some form, I mean to see how wizards view figures such as the Buddha, Jesus, Mohammed, Zoroaster etc. or the idea of organised religion in general.
