Exactly! I think the world of Harry Potter has an excellent balance of villains that represent both blatant evil (ex: Voldemort, Bellatrix) and more strategic, subtle evil (ex: Fudge, Umbridge).

The weasleys after the war: Bill: Married a Veela. Otherwise pretty “normal” I think. Charlie: Worked with dragons, making them some money. Percy: Worked with the ministry, even more money. The twins: Their joke shop was a HIT. giving them even more money. Ron: Married Hermione, Who worked for the ministry. Ginny: MARRIED THE HARRY POTTER. PROFFESIONAL QUIDDITCH. AND A BIT OF MINISTRY.

Ron was an auro for a few years, meaning he worked for the ministry himself, and he also had his face immortalised on a chocolate frog card for his contribution in taking down Voldermort, then he left the ministry on his own terms and became an equal partner in his brother's successful joke enterprise, making him lots of money, AND he married THE Hermione Granger. He's quite literally the most accomplished Weasley by the end of the series.

Also, Voldemort was probably turning when he realized Isolt, his relative, founded the American wizarding school and married a muggle. I find it funny just to sit and think about his reaction. You could write fanfiction around that whole idea.
@SpiderSora2 ай бұрын
I found it weird how the wizarding world really chose to turn against Harry right after Voldemorts return and only finally accepted the truth once it hit them square in the face at the battle at the department of mysteries as if the boy who lived who everybody knows Voldemort tried to delete who's seen more horror than everyone else to last him a lifetime of trauma has any reason to lie while the corpse of Cedric Diggory is laying right in front of him

Unfortunately it’s incredibly realistic because of this.
@abraham217215 күн бұрын
Its explained in the fifth book, the people simply didnt want to face the horrible truth. It was much easier and more comfortable to just believe the authorities that everything was fine and do nothing. Interestingly, the exact same thing happens in the famous book "World War Z" by Max Brooks. In it, the authorities and the public basically dismisses the zombie threat, pretending things were under controll, until the horrible truth was revealed and everything collapsed into pure panic and chaos. Its a fantastic book and as realistic as a book about zombies can be.

i realized a little easter egg when i was rewatching the movies, but i never had a place to post it, so i decided here would be the best. so anyway, i noticed that whenever Voldermort uses the killing curse, he says it all at once, like he's trying to get it done as quick as possible. but when he did it on Harry, he said it nice and slowly, like he was savoring the moment he finally killed the boy who lived. i know this has nothing to do with the vid, and i'm sure someone has already though of this, but i hope y'all enjoy it nonetheless

I will not have this slander of Gilderoy Lockhart. He’s a great man. There was a terrible tyrannical troll terrorizing my village and Lockhart stopped him. I don’t really remember what happened or how he did it, come to think of it the last thing I remember was getting ready to fight the troll myself. I’m actually pretty talented at taking down large creatures from my years of extensive training in both DADA and CoMC. Anyway the next thing I knew, the troll was gone and later I read about how Gilderoy beat him using the exact method I was going to use. I guess great minds think alike.
