I find the Titanic interesting, but I'm not obsessed. However I just love seeing someone that has so much passion and emotion for something (and let's face it, is obsessed :-P) get to do something they've wanted to do for a long time, the fulfillment rubs off! Great video! If I'm ever in Belfast i'll definitely be taking a visit :-D

To me, I am ultimately obsessed with the idea of titanic, knowing that this era of ship building was a downtrodden era. Now titanic breaking that record to neon of the the most luxurious ship. I am a little but younger fan of the titanic and the James Cameron titanic move is what really got me into the community. I found out many people do not like the titanic because either from other white star liner ships, there are many other types of liners that broke a record other from the titanic. But to me, there is this certain aura that emanates from the mere existence of the ship. I was intently interested that I’ve decided to start creating scale models that included the titanic. I dedicated a few good hours to building the titanic and I loved every minute of it. Of course, I really wanted to travel the world as when I get enough money and have enough courage to even travel, my first destination would be Belfast. Obviously, the titanic really gave me a lot of passion in my life and many may disagree with me, but the titanic greatly gives me more joy than other liners, mostly because of its story and it’s backstory.

..It must be a thrilling experience for you James! ..I had seen another video a few months before. .where a man gets down to the Titanic's dry dock & explains its features & functionalities...When you're inside the dry dock & look up to every directions, you actually get the idea about the legendary vessel's enormous size...You'll have a feeling hard to express when you imagine she once used to be there while you walk down right inside it & look at things...You'll become emotional & overwhelmed by that experience.... . 🙂

This vlog of the Belfast Titanic Museum, the old H&W docks and harbour area is just perfect cut and edited. Can those Andrews office rooms be visited by every Titanic hotel guest? Standing on Normadic, the remaining vassle designed by Andrews is mindblowing. Belfast is 100% on my future travell list. Thank You James Penca.

Queen Victoria went into dry dock at Harland & Wolff for a refit last month, the first Cunard ship to ever do so in Belfast.

I can't stop watching the clip at 13:38. It's exactly what you would have seen as Titanic took off her maiden voyage, well maybe a bit higher, but just knowing how her journey unfolded magnifies this moment that I can't quite capture with words.

1:38 I'm Belfast born and bred (I live in the city centre) and even when I saw the Harland & Wolff cranes I yelped with delight. I love those cranes. I see them (well, to be accurate, I see ONE) everyday. I'm so pleased that you managed to make it to Belfast. If I had known in advance, I would have gladly given you a tour of Titanic Belfast. If you are ever planning on coming to Belfast again, let me know!

Glad you enjoyed our wee museum, I took my son in law for a visit when he and my daughter were visiting from Australia. He loved it, I got him a print by a local artist, Terry Bradley called Titanic, The Men Who Built her as a memento. I thought the man in the print had the name of your channel tattooed on his arm but it's Honour and Hope. Not trying to plug the guy's art, it's not my cup of tea but my daughter and him like it. I have really enjoyed your videos, good luck.😎

Was in Southapmton not too long ago. You should definately visit SeaCiy museum while you're there. It's a maritime museum with a large part of it dedicated to the Titanic. It has simulations of the Bridge, the wireless room, and even a mock up courtroom of the inqueries.

Nice videos James, and welcome to this side of the pond! If in any way possible, you simply must get yourself to the North East while in the UK and visit the Olympic Suite at the White Swan Hotel in Alnwick. I promise you, it will redefine every emotion you have already expressed so far!

I am honoured to have walked on the decks of nomadic now such a beautiful little vessel sadly they don't build them like they used to. I went into the titanic museum and walked around Titanic's dry dock and that dry dock just gives you a sense of scale of how big even today titanic truly is. May those 1500+ poor souls who perished on that fateful voyage rest in peace.

7:45 - If you look across to Olympic's slipway they've set up the grass and decking areas to reflect the lives saved and lost in each class in the Titanic disaster. I thought it was a subtle - but very poignant -way to honour and pay respects to all involved.

I think the bridge is in the original 1911 configuration, but it was already altered by the time Titanic went to Cherbourg. The lack of lifeboats and mast is still weird, she feels a bit incomplete.

@@Titanic_401 - To be fair, she's in much better shape than she was when she arrived, and I have to agree with James that the feeling of actually walking around her is not diminished in any way by the things they haven't been able to restore as yet.

was a bit disappointed when I went as the Titanic museum does have a replica of the grand staircase but this is for corp events etc only and you couldnt even view it as a member of the public. huge letdown that. they didnt have any fences around the dry dock either 😳 which has now been sorted by the looks of it yeah best thing was the slips for sure. If you go Belfast you have to do it though
