Hi Sherry. Loved all the projects for today. But when you covered the eye glass case with fabric and then put Hershey’s kisses in it (my all time favorite candy) you hit it out of the park! My grandmother crocheted the edges of handkerchiefs and gave me one every birthday. They are thread bare, but you have given me some ideas. I also have crotched items that she made. Thanks again for a lovely video and thank you for your awareness and words regarding Ukraine. I've had personal and academic ties to Ukraine for over 20 years and have been there numerous times. I even organized a donation event in my village here in Germany to which people responded very generously. It's so difficult to tell if this could go on for a long time or could end soon. There is also much that is happening in Ukraine that isn't being told. So yes, please pray for Ukraine, but also the people of Russia who are fighting for justice and risking their lives for the truth. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

These were sooooo cute, had to make these for my littles to give to their Mommy’s in my Sunday School class for Mother’s Day. Since time doesn’t allow and they are 2-6 year olds, I made them but had each “pick & plant” the flowers in their boxes for their mommy’s. ADORABLE! I used my mother's white linen hankies to make lavender sachets for all of her nieces...it was a fun project and sentimental. I found her engagement engraved note cards and adhered a note inside , mentioning how their Aunt Lil always carried a hankie! I got a few thank-you's from my cousins

In the Uk the floristry tape has to be stretched so it almost becomes see through, and then moulds together as you twist, perhaps that is what your green one does, just a thought! It means your workings aren’t too bulky! If you don’t stretch it, it does not mould together! As always beautiful ideas, in the Uk we have already had Mother’s day, so these will have to keep! Lovely projects! I think we ALL have old hankies with those clink/blue/white crocheted borders. What a great way to use them! Once we are gone, a great many of the younger ones will not want any of the items, boxes of many items, old fashioned items, 😳😬😬, we have stored away in cup and drawers and pretty DIY project boxes, but some may want to keep something like this! 💕
