Having retired from social work career, I’ve still worried so for all of those folks, but especially the little children who have no idea what is going on, nor why. Thanks again for a lovely video and thank you for your awareness and words regarding Ukraine. I've had personal and academic ties to Ukraine for over 20 years and have been there numerous times. I even organized a donation event in my village here in Germany to which people responded very generously. It's so difficult to tell if this could go on for a long time or could end soon. There is also much that is happening in Ukraine that isn't being told. So yes, please pray for Ukraine, but also the people of Russia who are fighting for justice and risking their lives for the truth. Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦

My grandmother crocheted the edges of handkerchiefs and gave me one every birthday. They are thread bare, but you have given me some ideas. I also have crotched items that she made. These were sooooo cute, had to make these for my littles to give to their Mommy’s in my Sunday School class for Mother’s Day. Since time doesn’t allow and they are 2-6 year olds, I made them but had each “pick & plant” the flowers in their boxes for their mommy’s. ADORABLE! In the Uk the floristry tape has to be stretched so it almost becomes see through, and then moulds together as you twist, perhaps that is what your green one does, just a thought! It means your workings aren’t too bulky! If you don’t stretch it, it does not mould together! As always beautiful ideas, in the Uk we have already had Mother’s day, so these will have to keep! 🇺🇦 I recently traveled to Poland and while there I met several Ukrainian refugees! They were been housed in my hotel. I talked to one lady (through the use of a translator app and later through another refugee who spoke English). She left her home and everything she owned to flee to Poland. She brought only 2 shirts and 2 pairs of socks. 💔 My heart was so broken I gave her most of my Polish money (złoties) and the clothes I had already worn and my coat. She was so appreciative, showering me with hugs and kisses. I will never forget this lovely lady and will pray for her as long as I live. Also please say a prayer of thanks and blessing for Poland 🇵🇱 as they have welcomed more than 2 million refugees into their country!
