Tati: Just a heads-up about Westmore Beauty. The Westmore name has been around for over 100 years in Hollywood. George Westmore was one of Hollywood’s first makeup men, during the silent movie era. He had six sons, all of whom became movie makeup men. Westmore Beauty was founded by George’s great-granddaughter, McKenzie. I’ve never tried it, but am curious about it and love its pedigree.

Totally needed this today! Son got sick with a staph infection and since I had been caring for him I had to throw out all makeup I had used the day I took him to Dr. Yes, I had washed my hands. But with an aggressive staph you don’t want to take a chance. Have to replace foundation, blush, eye palette, mascara, and gloss. Argh! Kid is much better now.

It's not so much that I can't afford high end makeup but I don't feel good when I spend that much on something that can be easily achieved at a MUCH lower cost. I love Tati and her vids so I’m always happy when she’s not doing luxury and I don’t usually watch anything but her drugstore vids.
