Tati: Just a heads-up about Westmore Beauty. The Westmore name has been around for over 100 years in Hollywood. George Westmore was one of Hollywood’s first makeup men, during the silent movie era. He had six sons, all of whom became movie makeup men. Westmore Beauty was founded by George’s great-granddaughter, McKenzie. I’ve never tried it, but am curious about it and love its pedigree.

It's not so much that I can't afford high end makeup but I don't feel good when I spend that much on something that can be easily achieved at a MUCH lower cost. The last time I went with drugstore over expensive, I freely spent the $ that I saved to cover lunch for friends and I felt it was delegated in a much more enjoyable way!!

I wore the essence 8hr matte lip stick in silky hazelnut to a wedding back in may paired with their lip liner in the same shade and i got so many compliments. For a lip combo that cost £5 was definitely worth it. Never tried Charlotte Tilbury though i just can't justify the price 😂. Although on camera reef looks more like fussy than moonshine.

Again, SO many freebie application tips just thrown in - it is very much appreciated! (How to blend/set the shimmer gloss eyeshadow- needed this!) Totally needed this today! Son got sick with a staph infection and since I had been caring for him I had to throw out all makeup I had used the day I took him to Dr. Yes, I had washed my hands. But with an aggressive staph you don’t want to take a chance. Have to replace foundation, blush, eye palette, mascara, and gloss. Argh! Kid is much better now.
