DnD is a perfect platform for easter eggs. The diversity of the universe allows for basically anything.

If I don't mention it then someone else surely will. The entire Drow plot point in Waterdeep: Dragonheist is a direct reference to the actor Sean Connery, who played in The Hunt for Red October. Spoilers for the adventure ahead . . . . . . . page 6 describes one of Jarlaxle's alter egos as such: "In the magical guise of a human sea captain named Zardoz Zord, Jarlaxle runs a traveling carnival called the Sea Maidens Faire..." Zardok Zod was the character played by Sean Connery in the film Zardoz. The in-game NPC even has their direct likeness inspired from this source.

I should also mention that there was some unused artwork shared originally from Chris Perkins of Zardok. Definitely worth the find.

Wild beyond the witchlight has a bit more than just the roller coaster as a reference to the old cartoon, although maybe the roller coaster is just the only "easter egg"

Even cooler than usual, I remember a lot of references, but you picked quite a smart ones!

Making an "Easter Egg" about Lord of the Rings is the biggest understatement in the history of fantasy writing: DnD and most other modern fantasy would be nothing without Tolkien, and the whole DnD worldbuilding with Orcs, Elves and all sorts of creatures and magic is one big reference to his work.

Yes, it's what it's inspired by. However, that bit of text was a direct reference to it.

More videos like this, please. (I won’t be buying the BG3 game until it is heavily discounted, so I’m not yet interested in BG3 videos.)

I'm taking a break from BG3 videos anyway, so you can expect more DnD focused videos

Not this video but why do you always talk about complicated lore topics. Why can't you just cover a simple subject like how deities work and how spells work etc.
