Haxan by Parfum Prissana. It has goat hair tincture as a note as well as mushroom. You will stink like some kind of barnyard animal, that much closer to attracting the sexually deranged, emotionally unstable, ethically pliable ropey old banger of your dreams. And, Mister Married Man, it also sounds like she can forget about the hassle of having to squat naked over a foil pat of smoking homemade wusulan in order to inspire your lust; just get her to hoik her skirt up and hover over a steaming hot quarter pounder and a pint of Carling. A match made in heaven. 😜 If I were to try this olfactory method of trying to excite my own husband, I'd just have a bath in 2-Stroke oil. Job done.😆

Hey George! I was thinking that a series on the history of scents, their impact on the industry and whether they have stood the test of time would be interesting. For example, scents from early 20th Century, to pre WW2, 50s, 60s, 70s etc

@ciganyweaverandherperiwink62932 жыл бұрын
The constant requests for donations is off-putting though. I wish these KZbinrs would take it easy with the begging boxes. I also wince when they open a video with a demand for me to subscribe immediately, give the video a thumbs up and hit a notification bell. This is all before they've shown me respect by letting me quietly appraise their creative/commercial offering and decide for myself if I want to invite them into my life and support them financially. I think many of them have no idea how rude and obnoxious they're being.

YES! There's a huge difference within Roja Dove's Enigma range: I have the original Parfum Pour Femme and I've sampled the Enigma Essence too, just to compare and see if I'll buy that instead next time. The Essence, the one in the soft pink hued flacon is but a watercolour painting of a shadow in comparison to the Parfum. It's not a softer version; it's just different, like a second cousin rather than a younger sibling. I can only imagine how different the fragrance you were highlighting is to IT'S original.

great video once again! little idea (feel free to ignore) but you're a filmmaker. I dont know your favourite films or characters but perhaps fragrances that capture the essence of some of your favourite films/characters. The reason I suggest is because the fragrance that got me interested in fragrances (encre noir a l'extreme) immediately made me think of don draper and since I now attribute fragrances to a character i wish to portray by way of scent. Anyways keep up the good videos.

Hey those top lists helped me out a lot when I started this hobby years ago. Maybe because I don't have the nose some of your influencers have, maybe because I was to cheap to buy loads of frags to find out what I liked (Note I did spend lots but less because of people like you), maybe because I knew so little about the different types of frags, and I can go on and on. It helped and should thank you for that and without people like you I probably either would never have gotten into such a pleasurable hobby or would have quit out of frustration spending money on frags that I didn't like.
@DeflatingAtheism2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, top-ten lists meet a definite need, especially with beginners, and it's best if those beginners get their recommendations from experienced noses like Fragrance Apprentice, rather than some douchebag who happens to have a huge KZbin following but a very shallow knowledge of the subject matter.

Hi George. Great list as always. Theres a comment about fragrances and their impact on a specific decade. Is it possible for you to also describe the 'DNA' or the genre they helped usher in and perhaps what its counterpart is in the modern world. (E.g. if 80s is about masculine animalic scents with kouros leading the way then what is its counterpart now.) But yes, ill support any video you put out because content-wise, nobody does it better. Two Fragrance Apprentice videos in two days? We've been blessed. A quick question: Do you think that if someone is generally on the warmer side in terms of body temperature, they should generally look more to EDTs over EDPs/Parfums? Does seasonal climate overrule skin temperature when it comes to sillage? By the way: I do appreciate your longer form non-list videos as I feel like I actually learn something about the history, art, and appreciation of perfumery that isn't about trying desperately to substitute an overbearing fragrance for a personality in pursuit of sexual conquest. And thank you for not making your titles all caps, I hate being shouted at.
