@jeremyhinze88374 жыл бұрын
Interesting topic. I'm not sure about explorer dont know much about it, but its widely rumored that Pierre Bourdon made GIT and that he has been a contracted perfumer for creed for many many years, so one asks. Is it a clone if its the same perfumer making these? Its quite common for perfumers to make similar compositions for other companies with varying levels material Quality 🤷♂️ are they clones I dunno. Pierre Bourdon is said to have made orange spice(creed) then Kouros(ysl) very similar, GIT(creed) then Cool water(davidoff), Individual(mont blanc) then Original Santal(creed), a fragrance called "the brun" by Jean Charles Brosseau is extremely similar to Miliseme imperial some say an early rendering of MI 🤔 also spice & wood(creed) in composition is very similar to Pierre Bourdon's French lover(Frederic Malle) and this will blow peoples minds its even said that Pierre Bourdon made Aventus for the Creeds there is an article I read somewhere breaking this all down, explaining how its a well known fact behind the scenes the Creeds are not perfumers, they squirm and get very uncomfortable in interviews when asked technical questions. This doesn't make it all 100% fact, but to me makes complete and perfect sense when you smell these all side by side, some of them being made by the hand of a very skilled master perfumer something I have a hard time believing the Creeds actually are.
@WSF1764 жыл бұрын
Such a well written and intelligent commentary. I can’t confirm any of this. But I know the younger Creed (Erwin?) was more into race car driving that anything else. Seems odd he would dabble in making luxury fumes as a side gig. Also the “around since the 1200’s “ thingy isn’t really believed by anyone is it?
@jeremyhinze88374 жыл бұрын
@@WSF176 thanks might have been able to do a better job on punctuation and whatnot, but I wrote it quick 🤷♂️ ya the history with the brand is all myth & lore very cleverly created to help sell the prestige of the brand.
